Supergrill

Frankly, it's sickening. I'm not a yank, but Jesus Christ. You'd think your fucking media groups would stop whinging. Even in my country, with our liberal media, they just shut up when they're not in power, and even when the liberals get in power they still fucking question their motives/actions.

I can only hope they cancel the season 3 order, but I know they won't.

I wonder why the other 3 CW/DC shows don't cram this shit in, but Supergirl does it to the nth degree.

Oh yeah, and I forgot the scene where Cyborg Superman fights a weak scientist with a large gut and actually takes a hit and staggers a fair bit.
That made me laugh.

Once you get the Big Black Pill you can never go back to be the same OP.

This is the story of the lefties.

However as an Anti-Moe Otaku-hater what pisses me off is the Galaxies bit, I swear that Krypton was in the same Galaxy as DC's earth.

Canonically, they're 50 Light Years apart. There was some shitty tie-in with Neil DeGrasse Tyson, but he's a shit scientist, so I don't care what he thinks, dumbing down science to morons.

There was a few runs where it was stated to be quite far away, but the most predominant was 50YL, and the show mentions in the first season it took 24 years for the pod to land, so much further than 50YL and we have to assume the engine on the pod is a fucking insane number of times over the speed of light.

Reminder that Constantine got canceled and Supergirl is getting a third season.

Know what the worst thing about the show is? Even though I don't watch it, it seeps into shows I actually like.

Can't fault them for realism.

Fuckers.
When I first heard Kara singing at the start, I kept getting flashbacks to embed related. Her voice and some of the lyrics sounded similar.

YOU BROKE MY GRILL?
MY SUPER GRILL?!

Did anyone notice in the musical episode that Merlyn's son in the music realm was named Tommy?
Made me feel, as he was a really good character up until the end when they made him whine a lot.

...

You're part of the problem, fuckwad

I have never watched this, but thought about d/ling some eps. Is it really that bad?

It's pretty bad, but it's just "bad." It doesn't reach "CRITICAL CANCER" levels but it's a pretty bad show. The feminism isn't so horribly rampant as you might think, at least starting from the second season.

The thing that pisses me off most about Supergirl is how it's at least 70% Kara starring in Ugly Betty, 20% other characters and boring ongoing plotlines and 10% Supergirl fighting a supervillain AND THE VILLAIN IS USUALLY NOTHING LIKE THEIR COMIC VERSION!
I mean, I thought The Flash gets bogged down in pointless drama and shit sometimes, but watching Supergirl has made me realise quite how little of Flash obligatory American teen show stuff takes up.

no u

It's not bad when you compare it to, say, Birds of Prey. It's really bad compared to the other 3 DCTV shows, but most of the problems stem from how badly they fuck up the comic adaptations and force in Trump references.
S1 was "muh feminism" constantly, but they toned it down for the second season, though it's still a tad jarring.

So she sounds like breathy woman singing a James Bond style song?

Does watching the show on a streaming site like tvmuse.com or iwatchonline.to contribute to the problem?

Nah, those are illegal copies being streamed.
I'm sure some of them are just mirrors of the CW stream, so make sure you use one you know is illegal :^)

Want to get into Supergirl comics but no idea where to begin or a good story to start with.

Peter David's Supergirl was apparently pretty good.

Networks can still use piracy figures to convince advertisers to buy slots on their programs. HBO are actually really proud of the fact that Game of Thrones is the most pirated American television series for this reason

Piracy levels are basically completely in line with sales/ratings levels, it's not surprising. They never had any real impact on profit except when networks deliberately make it near impossible or ridiculously inconvenient to access media legitimately.

Second Peter David, it was more of a Twin Peaks vibe than the TV show, which is more Ally McBeal with AYLMAO.

Presenting Supergrill . . . The grill of steel.

Why hasn't Constantine just joined the Legend's of Tomorrow yet?

Was Constantine that good?

Never gave a shit, ever since they planned a Dynamic Feminazi Duo by planning to have both Super Grill and Bam Girl series, and christ just saw this episode and it's pretty much a liberal libtard fantasy land.

It was okay, being set in the same universe as Not-Batman Edgy Arrow kinda killed its momentum and the audience it was trying to get.

What do you think?

I thought about that once, but he's not a good team character, and needs to be grounded in reality to make his actions seem magical. Pairing him next to a guy who can transmute shit into jellybeans makes his magic and spells seem less amazing.

It wasn't amazing, but a solid 8/10 consistently.
Matt Ryan is an amazing pick for Constantine, so he carries a lot of the show.

I only hope that the animated series at least touches on the season finale, as it was a pretty good twist.

It wasn't set in the same universe, though.
The cameo in Arrow was Matt Ryan as Constantine, but not the same character from the show.

Honestly, I think they should just retool Constantine into another ensemble show. Add in characters like The Spectre and Swamp Thing as main characters alongside John, Chas and Zed. Essentially make it a Justice League Dark series.

That would solve the problem of suits thinking it's too similar to Supernatural, while allowing it to continue it's myth arc while being better integrated to the rest of the arrowverse. It's far from ideal, but it is the most realistic solution, I think.

I think it's been forced in retroactively.

A JLD show would be the best thing possible, but it'd be screwed with constantly.
That being said, if we watch the animated Constantine this year and shill it to friends constantly, then whine to the writers on Twitter, maybe they'll get it done and put it on a Friday or IN SUPERGIRL'S SLOT.

It's not in continuity. There was no mention of any plot from one show appearing on the other, just the character coming on. Berlanti even said it wasn't in continuity.

First season was basically grill power and feminism, but now it escalated to nearly every single libshit ideology you can cram into, mainly focusing on xenophobia and fear of aliens. What really amuses me is that the (female) President opens the borders of all the planet to any alien to take refuge in. Nevermind that it was established an white martian invasion is underway. Now, white martians are all shapeshifters that can be as powerful as the Martian Manhunter, who is viewed as even more OP than Superman. Now picture an whole army of them invading Earth and the only way to stop them is using fire. All of this could have been prevented if someone didn't do something as stupid as allowing any aliens in. Its as if they didn't anticipate this sort of outcome or worse, they are actually hoping to flood the Earth with them like real life libshits want to bring jihadists inside the West because it will help them destroy "fascism".

.

bump

Why though?
You're not even the OP, why do you want this thread bumped? Are you trying to hide a thread on the front page like a Jew or something?

Maybe he wants to post her nudes.

It's the fucking VPN beaner again. He shits on cheesecake threads and purposely bumps dead threads to get rid of threads he doesn't like. I swear we need to IP ban Mexico.

I can't take you seriously calling him the VPN Beaner or VPNfag, because you've called me that several times.
But I do see an user bumping threads randomly, so you've got that going for you.

Not sure why he only bumps a few threads. You need to bump a fair few to actually change anything.

They're not worth it, at all. Trust me, I researched them in the CW thread.

post nudes

I guess, if you're that bored with your life and have such low standards for pornography.

She's a solid 7/10.
