I'm living in one of the northern cities, 3 and a half hour drive to the nearest frontier city in Texas. Overall I'm doing okay in the sense that I'm having a steady job and my fmaily and friends are also holding up, but it's a zone with a high living cost and not even getting half of what I could get in the US if I really tried and get an equivalent job there.
