Before you guys jump down a rabbit hole accusing this of being a cover for CP, I have a more logical explaination on why this may be the case.

It's the Condom law, however the way the law would be implimented would force serious OSHA liability on the producer. Sounds fine and dandy, except in the modern era of internet commerce most of the stars are also the producer and opens them up to ridiculous high insurance premiums, fines and costs all overseen by a single self apointed moral arbitor.

Also OSHA doesn't exactly know how to classify porn, meaning they get regulated the same was as medical and hospital ER staff.

This position would only be able to be changed by a the US HOUSE, not even the california gov could overturn or block this position.

I recomend listening to the Brandi Love episode of porn director podcast for more info on the subject. But given pay to play system and California being a blue state, it seems more likely the porn industry is using a shell company to lobby indirectly than secret CP shell laundering.
