Classic Dragon Ball was funny, creative, and varied. DBZ was an endless cycle of challenge loss power up real challenge victory.

Berserk 2016 looked like shit and was, in general, a spotty adaptation of the story. Berserk 1999 was lots of stills but managed to hold the narrative a lot more tightly.
Berserk Manga was okay up until that fucking boat.

imo dragonball is a must watch, and dragonball Z is okay if you smoke some meth and watch it in a marathon

DB is 150 episodes
DBZ is 290 episodes i think, but canonically/originally it's only 100 or 110, but without the literal manga ending, but still it can be seen somewhat
DB is quite superior to DBZ, but the shock appeal of DBZ was the events happening in context with DB. Z is a massive cool bomb if you watch it after all DB's 150 episodes, as things one wouldn't expect happened (pure evil main villain teams up with mary sue protagonist, ends up killing him in a sacrifice move, just for starters)
Special effects and music is very good too, but the appeal quickly dissolves after a while and the ending chapter (Namek) is infamous for its drag

Shame the creator went full jew and still going to this day, DB ended in Namek with everyone dying

dragonball was more original, funny, creative, strange, and interesting.

dragonball Z was awesome in the same way horror movie cliches, kung fu movies, and cheesy sci fi movies are. if that's appealing to you, you'll probably love it.

You must be kidding yourself, Falconer is a good composer but his music was very out-of-context in DBZ, half of the time he made the scenes look cringe-worthy or broke all fight tension
