That's basically all it is. The media are mad that he's not paying them for positive coverage and yet they're so incapable of controlling their outrage or their autism that they can't stop talking about him. Trump seems to be all they talk about. You barely hear anything about Hillary, good or bad, and she's supposed to be the 'lesser' evil according to them.

Even the overseas English language press aren't immune. I watched a Jeremy Paxman special on BBC the other night. It was entitled 'Trump v Clinton' but Paxman barely even touched on Clinton. The thing was an hour long and most of that hour was spent talking about Trump, going around to Trump supporters, people who work with Trump, Bernouts who now support Trump, #NeverTrumpers and just generally talking about why they would or wouldn't vote for Donald Trump. The most that was said about Clinton, good or bad, is 'people don't like her because she's establishment'. That's it. There was barely any Clinton in it.

That's why I think Trump could win. It's Streisand Effect taken to the extreme. The media are going on day and night about how Trump's awful, you shouldn't vote for Trump, a Trump win would be the end of everything and all this really does is incense people who don't live in their little bubble and who aren't insane, to go and vote for Trump.

Put simply, democracy puts the media into power.

That's exactly it. The folks who have pushed hardest for democracy have been the secret societies and media outlets, folks who know they can decide things in the dark and sway the public to their view.

My guess is they want Americans to do it brashly, half assed, and badly instead of calculated and with brains.

Meh, I've got nothing really going for me right now. I'm young, /fit/, and willing to fight this bullshit. I'm sure I'm not alone, either. The trick is finding the right spark, and we are backing the chaos candidate after all.
