In honor of the news that David Michelinie, the creator and most prolific writer of Venom, will be writing a Venom story for Venom #150, and the fact that Eddie Brock will bond with the Symbiote once more, I thought I'd do a Brocktimer thread to get people pumped for the upcoming stuff.
I know some people still feel burned by Marvel, and rightfully so, but things like this should be encouraged. I'll actually be picking up a copy of Venom 150 when it drops.
Starting off with The Amazing Spider-Man 300, Venom's first major appearance.
You can easily make your own thread. If you want to shitpost head on over to Holla Forums
Gavin Walker
Make me, fag.

What can you possibly gain from trying to ruin a thread that many people on Holla Forums enjoy?
You're a bigger douche than I thought.

LOOK AT THIS POST
VENOM POST RIGHT HERE, WE'VE GOT VENOM APLENTY
Landon Brown
You're a huge dweeb. And that's coming from an autistic NEET. Seriously, get a life.
Cooper Harris
You know what, fuck it. Why even post them in order? It's very obviously the same experience since it's all the same images anyway.
And hey, I'll post some of them twice! That's even better?
Benjamin Sanders
Oh whoops, I meant to put an exclamation point at the end there. I'll just post some covers.
Or just the same cover, five times.
Easton Rogers
Shame that people like you browse Holla Forums these days.
Nolan Johnson
Please cry more.

Come on faglord, keep crying. Nothing to say?
Aaron Gutierrez
Keep going man, ignore him. It's probably already February break or something.
Brody Sullivan
That's the end of the first Venom story ever told. I'll be back in a bit for the next Michilinie story.
Leo Hill
Bad form.
Brayden Ward
How new are you? One comic finished, and now I wait for people to read it and give suggestions for what they'd like to see next.
Dylan Wright
Hurry it up fag.
Lincoln Evans
Picking up where we left off:
Amazing Spider-Man 315: The Return of Venom
Jose Nguyen
I'll be skipping the pages that don't feature either Eddie or Venom, or don't reference him so we can get to the good stuff quicker.
Jason Green
I just remembered how there is that Venom centric story, Truckstop of Doom that takes place between 315 and 316. Give me a moment to find that.
Xavier Adams
So now that Peter and MJ were never married, how is this encounter supposed to have played out?
David Wilson
This was Eddie's first solo story I believe. I find it interesting how from the very beginning David was playing with the heroic side of Venom.
…sigh. I have no clue. I just pretend that never happened. I think the official explanation was that MJ and Peter were roommates (retarded, I know)
Adrian Barnes
I really do wonder what the story Michelinie ends up writing in Venom 150 will be about. He hasn't written for Marvel in two decades I think, and I believe the last time he wrote Eddie was in Maximum Carnage or one of the Venom miniseries form the 90s.
Jaxon Perry

Jacob Hughes
Venom sings bits of that song in several different comics.
Lincoln Foster
Thus ends Venom's first solo story. Now to get back onto the main event.
Joshua White
Sweet a Brock thread.
Juan Murphy
This one's going to be chronological. Now that we know Eddie is coming back in style, with art by Bagley and writing by Michilinie I thought it'd be a lot of fun for Holla Forums to see his evolution as a character in real time.
Lucas Roberts
Trying to ruin a storytime.

[spoiler] Is anyone else starting to get excited for comics again? I'm actually planning to go to a comic book store for the first time in 3 years to see if they have any leftover issues of Mike Costa's Venom or Gerry Conway's Carnage. [spoiler]
Henry Reed
Oops, fumbled that post.
Owen Ross
Boy the posting on Holla Forums has been really great tonight.
Tyler King
I love that Brock has never been smeared by SJWs even though he savagely beat a woman in one of his earliest appearances. Then again, I guess that makes him not sexist for treating men and women the same.
Mason Ramirez
That actually reminds me how Brock always has young women as his friends in a lot of his comics, whether we're talking Jenna in his Anti-Venom days or that San Francisco hipster girl in the 90s.
Parker Hughes

Cameron Diaz
Didn't somebody make a porn comic where venom fucks her after beating her up?
Jordan Moore
lol, yes

I'll be back for issue 317 in a moment. I remember as a kid this fight in the meat packing plant was super creepy and cool to me.

Get ready for some great reaction images.

That's the end of this Venom arc. Do you guys like doing this chronologically? If so I'll keep on doing it this way.
Parker Jenkins
So basically the symbiote is a love sick idiot.
Henry James
Yes, the symbiote has always been portrayed like a kawaii monster girl. Eddie and it ended up having the best relationship, that's why I'm really excited to see what them getting back together is going to be like after they've both had so much character development on their own.
Gabriel Phillips
...
Christopher White
If he beat up Black Cat now, we'd give him a fucking medal. For that matter, I'd like to see Eddie smack Mockingbird and Hellcat around, too.
Jaxon Diaz
I always kind of preferred the original Venom design, with the straight teeth, before MacFarlane went full retard with the Violator type jaw. Eventually, Peter David noted with Venom 2099 developing liquefaction powers, that there was some precedent for it, because Eddie Brock's jaw couldn't possibly open that wide.
Leo Sullivan
C'mon now fellas we're better than this.
Samuel Turner
There is also Sexual Symbiosis but I don't have that completely so I won't bother you with an incomplete story time.
I prefer the modified design. McFarlane was always good at monsters and horror stuff. His solo Spider-Man comic always seemed like he'd rather have done a proper horror comic.
Joshua Hall
Thanks OP
Samuel Long
You mean like this?
Gabriel Johnson
More like this. I always thought the whole fangs, tongue, drool thing was overdoing it. Venoms' scary enough as a psychotic bodybuilder with Spider-Man powers, they didn't need to turn him into the Xenomorph.
Nolan Miller
The SM 3 design used it well
Owen Anderson
Agreed.
Jordan Murphy
Prefer the xenomorph design. It's more visceral than 'Guy in slightly bigger black Spider-Man costume'
William Jackson
It really is a good design when just a pure white grin on pitch black is spooky.
Jayden Cooper
Thanks, man. When will you continue? A source would be nice as well.
Ian Diaz
I think both work, and it would be visually interesting if Brock's appearance fluctuated with his temper. A calm, collected Venom is terrifying in a spooky, minimalist way; whereas an enraged Venom is more the beastial, otherworldly horror.
Michael James
I like that idea too. Add in Venom's liquid snarls, and you have perfection.
Matthew Thompson
Yeah
Ryder Brooks
Brocktimer? You up for more Venom?
Brody Cox
Yeah, one sec Ill be back with his next appearance.
Dylan Taylor
Sure
Easton Edwards
Brock needs (yet) more love.
Mason White
Did you fully transfer to the Symbiote thread or summat? Did Brock get an arc around when became Antivenom?
Brandon Turner
...
Ayden Howard
Shit…
Ayden Thompson
As penance, you must post scandalous imagery of symbiotes.
