Book Recommendation List
Whatever happened to the guy that would compile various books and lists of books every month? I really came to value some of them (March of Titans, culture of critique, etc.) and always looked forward to them.

I can vouch for CS Lewis' 'Mere Christianity'. That's good stuff, good for non-christians to read too if you'd like some insight.
One thing I have learned is that if you want to understand politics you need to understand war.
Some good books about that is Hitler's second book, the art of war (Machiavelli), Imperium has a good part about war (cant remember where hut you should read all of it anyways) and the concept of the political.
if you need to read a book to figure out how bad things really are you should probably not be involved in politics.
