COINTELPRO, Reagan

Reagan
FBI

Jews sabotaged their efforts

Didn't focus enough on socioeconomics.

They were too woke tbh

They did tho, much of their activism involved helping urban poor and youth. Easing class tensions will invariably ease racial tensions.

This is actually the main reason they were targeted by the feds. They were socialist in any meaningful way, which means they were obviously Soviet invaders.

Not him but did you ever read Rojava constitution?
Pro tip: they defend private property

they achieved legal equality, but most blacks stayed poor. they're still oppressed because of our economic system, but groups like BLM think it's the white devil.

Yes but the private sector is comparatively small, with the focus being on expanding social ownership of production and management of resources through communes and collectives. And according to the Ministry of Economics, approximately three quarters of all property has been placed under community ownership and a third of production has been transferred to direct management by workers' councils.

Ah yes because let's forget about the fall of the majority of Marxist-Leninist states during the late 1980's and and early 1990's and how it's "working socialism" even though the state has complete control over the economy even the means of production and distribution.

Well it's not my fault that you favor an authoritarian ideology

…… I'm not even sure wtf are you saying anymore

…….. Since when did I brought up Catalonia?. But anyways…

Catalonia fell because Franco's regime started to get better equipment from its fascist allies the Nazi's(German engineering eh) and Italy, and they just got blasted from it.
The Soviet Union fell because of many things. Gorbachev radical reforms, untrust of the state from the people, nationalism from Ukraine, the Baltic states, and the many eastern bloc countries, losing members from the Warsaw Pact and the Sino-Soviet Split, and its disasters like Chernobyl and many shortages.
So I wouldn't its the "best thing any branch and the only relevant and functional one, marxism leninism, has ever brought into the world"
Also
You mean Stalinism? Because that's what the Communist Party of the Soviet Union abandoned in 1959 and continued to follow Marxist-Leninist thought

But you know, the only thing I like from Marxism-Leninism are its symbols and style's

BPP reached peak popularity while Newton was in jail. After he got out in August 1970, some local chapters disliked handing power back over to the Central Committee. The New York chapter demanded they keep money raised for the NY21 in NY. The Central Committee used some of that money to bail out Panthers in Los Angeles instead of paying lawyers in New York. Fund allocation led to the break up of 3 chapters in January and February of 1971.

Countries which supported BPP like China opened up to the USA i.e. "ping-pong diplomacy". Cuba decided against opening a military camp for Panthers/Black Liberation Army.

February 1971 two New York Panthers failed to show up for court and forfeited 150k bail raised from donors. The Judge then revoked a further 200k bail, and returned the two panthers out on bail to prison. This led the Central Committee to expel the majority of the NY21 from the BPP as "enemies of the people".

As Newton expelled Geronimo Pratt and the NY21 from the party. Late in February 1971 Newton spoke to Cleaver, who was hiding in Algeria, live on TV via phone. Cleaver demanded Newton reinstate the NY21 and Pratt. Enraged by Cleaver airing private business on TV, Newton decided to expel Cleaver's entire International Section from the party.

In turn Cleaver released a tape to the US press denouncing David Hilliard (Cleaver's replacement) for turning the BPP into a bureaucracy party. In the March 1971 issue of the Black Panther, it alleged that Cleaver was beating his wife and preventing her from returning to the USA,

The New York Panthers denounced the Central Committee and aligned with Cleaver. This led to the assassination of Panther Robert Webb on March 8 1971. Webb was handing out the issues of Black Panther in New York, which alleged Cleaver was beating his wife. In a press release the NYP said Webb was killed for handing out a "reactionary rag sheet" and for refusing to denounce the "revisionist" Newton. The NYP also killed national distribution manager of the Black Panther magazine, Samuel Napier. He was shot six times and burnt beyond recognition. This led to a 30 to 40% decrease of Black Panther members over safety fears.

The Central Committee tried to maintain it's public support. The liberal media (FBI backed) pushed the various levels of factionism and purges that were taking place in the party. The BPP denounced all insurrection activities and armed resistance rhetoric. Newton was quoted "There must be total transformation. But until that time time that we can achieve that total transformation, we must exist. In order to exist, we must survive; so therefore we need a survival kit". Images of weapons in the BP magazine went from 18 per issue down to 1 per issue. Phrases like "Revolution now!" were slowly replaced with advocacy of "traditional politics".

When Panther George Jackson was killed in prison on August 8 1971. Having distanced themselves from insurrection, the BPP couldn't make a call for action as they did after Fred Hampton was murdered. The BPP said Jackson's death was a tragic loss but not a call to arms, signalling how much they had changed.

Bobby Seale ran for Mayor of Oakland in 1972. Newton put out a message saying all BPP chapters to close down and bring dwindling resources back to Oakland. Bobby Seale was unsuccessful. In private, Newton had told David Hilliard in Late 1971 that, "the Party is over"

While COINTELPRO had a lot to do with it early on. A lot of the unravelling happened in a very short space of time.

IdPol.

So-called "jews" always plotted against black liberation, the Panthers being no exception.

The FBI really obsessed over the Black Panthers - and in a way I can see why, they represented an actual threat to bourgeois rule. The Feds set up one of the most revolting domestic counter-intelligence program ever heard of in a modern first-world democracy in order to try and bring them down "by any means necessary".

Learning of the way the US government handled this matter is actually one of the turning points that made me a leftist. I just couldn't believe a "democracy" that put so much heavy emphasis on "freedoms" could behave in such a way - that's when I realized bourgeois democracy was little more than a farce.

No shit. Even the rule of law that exists in the US is a farce. In truth, every state is a dictatorship. The only reason there are any checks on the state bureaucracy is because the plutocracy desires it. As for said plutocracy, there are no material checks on their power at all.

"In Newton's book Revolutionary Suicide he writes, "Before I took Criminal Evidence in school, I had no idea what my rights were." Newton also wrote in his autobiography, "I tried to transform many of the so-called criminal activities going on in the street into something political, although this had to be done gradually"
