Will a social revolution ever happen in America?

For some time, I had been assisting at the meetings of a Socialist party. Though on the inside, the party had eventually divided into three sections, each under its own leader and its own garret. That is when i decided to stop attending. The workmen's discussions were too timorous; the interest they took in the question of wages was inordinate. I feel as though they were hard featured realists and that they resented an exactitude which was the product of leisure not within their reach. In my opinion, I do not believe any social revolution will be likely to happen in America for some centuries.

You need objective AND subjective conditions, to have a revolution.

Back in 2008 - 2012 the objective were there. Then Occupy happened. But it didn't create subjective conditions, as it was taken over by Id Pol and this is still the bane of revolution. Id Pol.

Now, would there be a second economic crisis, with most people sick of Id Pol… there MIIIIIIIGHT be a chance.

But still not sure about class con in USA.

the one moment a genuine revolution could of developed was at the outbreak of the great depression but that was before military keynesianism emerged as a response to managing crises

'08 didn't really have serious revolutionary potential since it could be managed with state fiscal and monetary policies

a total breakdown is still possible and that's when spontaneous organization would become necessary

But that's the point.
The bourgies have become so overconfident that they now want to go fullneoliberalism.

And neolib doesn't fix crisis…

No, idpol will prevent it from happening. If there is a revolution in America, it will be a reactionary revolution.

This. The propaganda system is too strong.
We're fucked.

Comrade we shouldn't give up hope on this. Just how Propaganda works to prevent the proletariat from organizing. It can be used as the means to demonize the porkies and capitalists.

But unfortunately right now those who support the left would not want full blown revolution. I'd like to believe that we can ease them into the ideology without spooking them. I just fear we won't get that far since /idpol/ will destroy it from happening.

I fully agree with this as spontaneous organization will become necessary for a total breakdown. But when will we see this happen? If it does happen will we have the means to take control of the situation?

Fuck off

I think we need a crypto-leftist movement. Also we need to focus on actual working class people and less on IDpol inclined middle class college kids etc.

Someone is upset.

Idpol is taking a huge shit all over itself, and the actual left (i.e. not idpol bullshit literally funded by capitalists so as to divide the populace) needs to take a real firm stand against it if they don't want to be swept up in the reactionary uproar that is quickly approaching. It seems inevitable at this point that a reaction is coming and if the left wants to actually survive they need to quickly distance themselves from those elements that will be reacted against, namely idpol.

Thankfully actual leftism has nothing at all to do with identity politics, in almost every way it is actually the exact opposite of what the left stands for. It should not be too hard to push idpol away considering there is no reason at all for leftists to defend it, but regardless, it seems all it takes are some deluded so-called leftist idiots to give into social pressure and start giving their support to BLM and other outright divisive organizations to taint the entire left, and that is what the reactionaries will use as justification to destroy the entire left unless we make a deliberate point of opposing idpol and other clearly divisive forces.
