I wonder what the Neo-dark ages will be like. After the initial chaos of a worldwide economic collapse, we'd likely just fall into anarchy until new city states arise. Maybe then we'd have some peace and quiet about what's happening everywhere but the homefront.
Likely the globalist giants will end up splitting up/balkanizing into a bunch of smaller states. China will get split up into hundreds of smaller sovereign nations most likely. Remember, the dark ages follow a pre-industrial time in human history. The context of the times are different now.
For example, in a neo-dark ages scenario, its likely everyone will still have computers, but it's also likely the global internet backbone will collapse into a bunch of smaller intranets. Especially since its likely in an economic collapse that internet giants, including major ISPs, will simply cease to exist.
