Not really. It's closer to a direct inverse actually. MRAs are usually egalitarian, but their being an MRA is specifically about men's rights. Feminists are not egalitarian but claim that being a feminist is about equality. I mean think about this logically. If you are egalitarian, you should be a women's rights advocate and a men's rights advocate. You should advocate for everyone's rights. For some reason people always leave out children's rights, though. They have more issues than either adult gender.

People tend not to distinguish between what an MRA actually is and when a feminist refers to anyone they don't like as an MRA, which is probably what leads people to view them the same way as the motte and bailey structure that feminism has. Feminists have cast the "manosphere" as some kind of singular entity when it's really a disjointed mass of people responding to men's issues in a variety of ways. The narrative that feminists would have people believe is that men's rights (I mean everyone should have rights, shouldn't they) is bait to draw people in and turn them into woman haters. They conflate MRAs with unrelated groups that only really share that they are responding to the same societal conditions. The other people, mostly pick-up artists and men going their own way (MGTOW) have little if any overlap with MRAs and come to very different conclusions about the origins of men's issues and the solutions to them. What feminism does is put all these people under an umbrella together (along with people who disagree with or are critical of feminism in general) as MRAs. They turned the idea of men's rights into a pejorative for "people we find excellent".

Men's rights advocacy (i.e. the action that these English words describe) isn't fundamentally different from women's rights advocacy or children's rights advocacy or black rights advocacy or gay rights advocacy or pick your demographic. The only reason people see it differently is because feminism has spread the idea that men have subjugated women for all history, making men unilaterally better off, therefore there could be nowhere where men have it worse than perfect let alone worse than women.
