I come to you as a man in despair. My wife was recently posted on the myex.com forum and /shamedsluts/. Now keep in mind I'm not jaded as I already suspected she was a stupid slut flirted with my boss and coworkers on occasion but over the past few days I've had people close to me email me comments about her and I'm ready to throw her the fuck out which would look bad to the court. I'm filing for divorce in the next week as I feel physically sick when thinking about living with her after this and don't want to lose everything. So, I need help with tracking down the man that posted the photos to get his signed testimony for the court that she cheated on me with him or other guys. How do I go about doing this? I've been told that Holla Forums strips the exif data and I'm pretty sure the myex site does as well. I don't care about prosecuting the guy for 'revenge porn' or whatever but I do want to track him down and get him to testify to my lawyer and then a judge. Without it I'm in a state that repeatedly sides with the female in divorce cases no kids but I do have a house and a dog that I don't want her to get. Would really appreciate some help, ty anons.

Talk to a lawyer, unironically. You'll need one anyway. They might be able to help you track down the guy who posted them. Since it's illegal, you might be able to ask Holla Forums for his IP. But talk to a lawyer first, they know best.

That said, I know a little about how Holla Forums handles EXIF data. It's not stripped out by Holla Forums itself, it's stripped out by Cloudflare. Cloudflare serves the image and caches it at the same time, then "optimizes" the cached version for future serving. If you manage to request the file while it isn't in the cache you get the EXIF data. That's usually only if you're the first one to request it.
The most important consequence of this is that the EXIF data isn't completely gone, it's just inaccessible for normal users most of the time. If you find a way around Cloudflare you're in.
And there is, in fact, a way around Cloudflare. This site's hidden service doesn't use it. If you download the file through there the EXIF data isn't stripped. Compare:

Both are links to the same file I uploaded on /test/. But if you check the EXIF data, the second link will tell you it was made with a flash (specifically, the Flash tag says "Auto, Fired") while the first link doesn't have any EXIF data.

What I'd do is try contacting the OP of these threads/ ask for screenshots of their chat or something. Or try finding some evidence on her phone.
You could reverse search those images if they are posted somewhere else (without stripped exif data).

I'm not completely against marriage, it's just a risky move for a man in most countries right now. If you know the girl well and are 98% sure she's a reliable person with whom you want to spend the rest of your life, then go ahead, otherwise you risk getting fucked by her and by the system afterwards and eventually ending up living a miserable life. Your best bet is to contact the owners of the forums or chan with some legal representation requesting the personal information of the posters and hope they didn't post via vpn/proxy. You could try some social engineering or whatever and see if anyone tells you some details about the posters but I doubt they'll fall for it.

Dude, calm down and think it through. You know she's cheating, but she doesn't yet know you know. Odds in court are stacked against you, so don't throw away your one advantage by making rushed decisions. You're angered, and rightfully so, but you'll have to man up, take a deep breath and think.
Before you do anything talk with a lawyer. Don't file yet, this is just to know how to get less fucked by the court. It'll cost you some money but it's way cheaper than fucking up and losing everything. Ask him what difference it makes if she's cheating, etc, discuss with him about hiring a detective so you know the evidence can be used. Then hire a detective if it's useful, get enough evidence (give him the myex stuff too, his odds of getting the info are better than yours), go back to the lawyer and go from there. Or you can just file away and lose all your shit.
