What's up Holla Forums, what are some of your favorite movies to watch? I just got done watching A Bronx Tale and even though i've seen it a few times I still really enjoyed it. Lately I've been on a futuristic sci-fi binge but I can't really find anything else besides what I've already watched, so I'm just looking for any genre
I'm currently watch American Sniper for the first time, nothing surprising so far but I always like a war movie so we'll see how it goes!
Also I fucking love this intro scene to ABT
Henry Roberts

Here's a few story driven goodies that have come out in recent years. There;s another I wanted to post but can't remember the title. It's set in the northern united states and follows a wildlife ranger played the governor in American Hustle as he works with an indian reserve to find this missing girl. Was bretty good tbh.
Jayden Cruz
Hawkeye deserved at least nomitation for this year oscars……but its a Weinstein movie so they ignored it
Brayden Bell
I'm like some found footage films, pics related.
Jaxson Edwards
Just watched this shit on netflix. Was kinda interesting reminded me of they live just alittle but the ending was shit and stereotype as fuck: he turns out to just be a schizto. Maybe it could have been cooler, the characters were flushed out pretty well. It was just disappointing.
Jordan Gutierrez
I was bored one night and went for it blind expecting some shitty le jump scare horror. But this shit was good especially the first half of the movie its set really good mystery atmosphere second half tho went a lil downhill for me like they needed to finish it and was kinda rushed and weak like two different people wrote the movie. But still its really good horror compare to the shitty jump scare movies released lately

Nice, As Above So Below is one of my favorite found footage films, I love the genre! Have you seen Exhibit A? I recommend watching it since you're into FF films

Nice list user, I've seen Loopers and Valerian and enjoyed them so I'm definitely check those other ones out. Although the plot was meh Valerian had really neat visuals
The city had a pretty cyberpunk vibe to it (which I love), we only saw it in small parts but it looked pretty sick.
I've learned not to underestimate movies like that, although the stories aren't always 10/10, the visuals are always amazing

So I wake up and turn on my tv to see A Bronx Tale playing on AMC, I heard "I Wonder Why" and thought i left my pc plugged into my tv and thought it was watching the video I posted in the op post lol
The movie literally started from that scene, they're watching boys haha
Gabriel James
Also what are some movies similar to A Bronx Tale? I'm talking specifically the time period, the mob aspect just adds to the atmosphere even more. It's the late 50's/early 60's I'm fascinated with, the music, the styles, the cars, it's all amazing.
David Wright
your picture reminds me of Two Lane Blacktop, but it's more late 60s early 70s
Liam Hill

Adrian Rivera
I have a 3 day weekend coming up and I want to watch some movies on one of those days, what do you all recommend? Any genre is cool
Jacob Clark
As Above, So Below is fuxking awesome
Brayden Fisher
Literally all characters in mob movies are exactly the same. This shit genre is so overrated. The only good one was The Godfather, all of the rest are generic ripoffs with the same fucking content.
Lincoln Davis
Runaway Bride
William Collins
Love Exposure
Camden Davis
It gets a bit annoying when you watch a few in a row and half the actors happen to be the same, but there are quite a few good mafia movies.
Juan Cook
I watched Casino and Goodfellas when I was a kid, I liked them back then. I often think about scenes from those movies and mix them up because they are the same exact movie. Which are the "good mafia movies" that you are talking about?
Christian Moore
The one in the previous pic is pretty good, the main character is undercover though. I also liked Road to Perdition. Pic unrelated, other than also having criminals.
