That is not quite accurate, user. See, it used to be several hundred butthurt anons, not just pedos, along with several of the other board owners, all in agreement that Dysnigger was fucking up not just this board but the whole site. Even Ron threatened him with removal just a couple months ago for not doing his job, if you recall.
Now it is true that since that time fewer of these people have been vocalizing their displeasure. But if you look at the total number of users, it has dropped in an identical proportion. Just as big a percentage (a majority, btw) think he is a detriment to the board and to the site. Another thing that has changed is that now he has a larger number of vols shilling for him. But I suspect that is something you already know intimately well.
As far as pedos go, nothing has changed. Pedos are still free to post anything they want here. Omlet's rules proved just as unenforceable as Dysnomia's, and for the same reasons. The vols are deleting it faster and are deleting more broadly, but that isn't limited to pedo shit either. They are targeting individuals and deleting completely based threads that do not break any rules just because they don't like the person posting them or what the content is. Which is fine if you let people know that you are doing that ahead of time, but kind of a dick move if you don't.
The reality of the situation is that Dysnomia has succeeded in alienating enough people in enough of a cuntish manner that they have taken it upon themselves to stay, rather than to leave, so that they may collectively drive this board into the ground by forcing the notoriously autistic Dysnigger to keep changing things on the site for the worse. They expose and exploit every weakness of everything he does, using the weaknesses and vulnerabilities of the site to their advantage. So while it is certainly not entirely his fault that the site is crashing and burning, his willingness to continue playing into their hands (or inability to refrain from doing that) is certainly a major contributing factor. In the end though, it doesn't matter because he can't win. He just can't. The parameters of the site are such that he has no real weapons to fight them with, and everyone knows it. All they have to do is continue doing what they are doing and anons will continue getting fed up with all the bullshit and continue to leave. Sooner or later the place will be abandoned except for Dys, his vols, and 20 or so anons dedicated to driving Dysnomia into leaving or driving this board into oblivion. There is simply nothing that anyone can do about it. Sure, you could cut off VPN use and deal with it that way, but no one is willing to do that for obvious reasons. Range bans are already as broad as Jim will allow them to be, and seem to be completely ineffective anyway. And without decent mod tools Dysnigger has no options but to tweak the board settings, turning IDs on and off, limiting thread creation for the good anons as well as the bad, etc….
