Brock is Back, Baby!

Looks like Marvel is finally getting the message.

Well that was fast. Least we know Lee the psycho won't be abusing poor Venom anymore.

When did everything start getting so good?

Flash was okay but can't compare to Eddie. He also had two writers I absolutely do not care for. Remender and the cursed cuck Bendis. Fucking ignorant twitter normies are gonna ruin a good thing again.

I'm genuinely excited for this, I haven't been excited for a Marvel comic in years. This is crazy.

Twitter is a cesspool, these are the same people who don't buy comics yet proclaim that Miles Morales is the best spider-man.

Yep. And those are the people Marvel was listening to that got us where we are now. That's why I'm cautious. They could easily fuck it all up by listening to them again.

...

No one in their right mind will think Marvel's getting better after one instance. But it's still good to appreciate the seemingly good moves they do make. However few and far between they are.

Have you been reading the latest Venom series, it actually has good writing, fun action, and clever dialogue. The bit about the FBI and mutants was great.

...

Marvel's sales have tanked. Remember how bad DC was, and then we got Rebirth. Marvel has been slowly getting better with their Carnage series, that featured Brock, and that Cage miniseries. I think they're learning that the twitter and reddit clowns don't represent their real audience.

Agent Venom was alright

I have a thing for guns what can I say

Isant there already a female venom goth chick?

It all starts with one series, man. I know Marvel is shit, but I'm gonna be optimistic about this. So far things in the universe have been looking up.

Who knows, maybe we memed Brock back into being Venom with those Brocktimer threads.

I dunno. 3 or so good books does not a good company make. I think we should wait and see what they do. They need a serious retooling of staff all throughout the company right now.

I think she got de-powered just before Civil War 2.

Let's meme every SJW change and character the work of a parasitic shape shifting race of aliens that destroy universes from the inside out. Make it a meta commentary and have the best heroes and villains snap out of the control and take back their world from them. Or just a handwave reboot. I wouldn't mind at this point.

Who wants to storytime some Brock comics?

Y'know I'm surprised we haven't had a Toxin storytime yet. Eddie's the host now, sure. But Toxin was pretty good when the character was first starting out. Shame they killed the original host off screen for no reason.

Of course the good female characters gets outed by marvel

I'm confused. Doesn't Holla Forums hate Marvel's adherence to the status quo and how they only change it in superficial ways? Why are we celebrating Brock's reunion with Venom?

We can take returns to the status quo over shitty SJW diversity quota replacements being the surrogate for a writer to spout his political ideals any day.

Remender hated Pat for some reason so he killed him off panel.

No, we hate shitty comics and replacement characters. Brock is the only real Venom. Not to mention we've had a bunch of Brock threads over the last year.

I'm gonna go find all the Toxin comics, the problem is they have some serious issues. For example the series where Toxin is introduced had the version of Venom where Brock had zero control of the symbiote and was essentially a husk. I did like the fight between Broxin and Agent Venom in Philadelphia though.

I'll admit that I was really liking Lee.

He was like an ex-Green Beret Yoshikage Kira who just wanted a quiet life granted to him by abusing the Venom symbiote.

The Symbiote is Brock's waifu, I can't wait to see Eddie smack Lee around for beating on his monster girl.

...

No way, in the current Carnage series Brock is written to perfection and Devin Lewis, the current Spidey editor loves Brock. I think he's in good hands.

WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT EDGELORD'S DEAL?!

I wouldn't mind a venom storytime. I didn't save the comics in the last thread.

Which ones?

I don't remember. It was back in december.

Thats reassuring

I was pretty sure people here would have preferred the return of Anti Venom, I guess I was wrong.

Nah dude. Venom all the way. Anti-Venom served his purpose. Now we can get back to the symbiote we know and love.

what happened with that edge lord?

Is Deadpool vs. Carnage by Bunn and Espin any good?
comicshop.de/MARVEL-US/Deadpool/Deadpool-vs-Carnage-TPB::59766.html

Also, I ordered Mars and symbiote related stuff from my comicshop and got the message they had to re-order the Mars stuff from the US. So it will take two weeks till I get my symbiote and Mars fix.

Reading this message comforts me. The comments though.

Very nice

We don't know yet.

People are just being faggots.
Adherence to a Status Quo inofitself is not that horrible, however it can be detrimental if the Status Quo is shit and has no real in-universe reason to stay as it is.
Prime example is Marvel's adherence to the Marvel Universe being "like our earth" despite having a million and one reasons not to be using current tech or even societal structure.

Despite dozens for breathroughs Marvel Humanity still isn't at it's space age, gasoline powered cars still dominates the market despite teleportation being available and semi-cheap.
Same with the law enforcement STILL not having equipment for major areas to fight super-villains or not offering super-powered individuals jobs as "super-cops".
SHIELD still has an incompetent as hell leader despite fucking up often and catastrophically,or the fact that there's an absurd level or pesecution for people mutated by some fucking gas despite former social status.
The fact that Marvel-Humans are still using baseline shit despite fending off numerous alien, otherwordly invasions and the fucktons of geniouses making robots,mech-suits and reality warping shit.Magic is still not publicly or privately used despite it being fucking everywhere.
Demons and shit run amok and there's no act by the churches/christians to counteract them, like excorcism squads or devout crusaders.Speaking of which, the dominance of christianity is still odd when fucking Thor is flying around and there being definite proof of other gods/pantheons.

tl;dr:Marvel Earth and Humanity should be a bizarre hybrid of Sci-Fi and Fantasy by now.Instead it's in a state of a societal and delevopmental inertia, despite all odds.

Gotta keep it grounded to reality

I know you're being sarcastic but there's people that legitimately use that as an excuse. Those people are morons and probably don't actually read comics.

It still holds some merit for Street-level heroes,as otherwise it would be a fucking nightmare writing for them, because they mostly rely on a system of current Marvel Humanity.
That is where the phenomenon of super-heroes is new and rare enough for them to hold some level of being "special" and required without being force to turn to power-ups to keep up with anything large, outright ingoring other creator's contributions,plot-holes,retcons or changing the setting.

A branching of continuities(Large and street scale for example) or excessive use of "what-ifs" to see what sticks would help matters but it's decades too late without retconning away work of merit brought in those decades.

Shit's fucked. Tell me something I don't know.

Or they want to live a power fantasy

They'd be pretty basic bitches for wanting a power fantasy from a street hero like Luke Cage or Daredevil.

Him maybe, but hey gotta get the black audience

Fair enough it's been a long ass time since vanilla venom. So give flash toxin and make him the toxin avenger.

Toxin no longer exists.

Fuck, that sucks

I'm probably Eddie's biggest fan, short of Brocktimer. This news made me so happy not just because it represents a turn against Marvel's leftist SJW bent of late, but my childhood hero and favorite comic character is returning to his proper role after over a decade absence. Eddie has huge potential. He's very much a grey area dude. He can be really bad but wants more than anything to be good. Like the punisher, he uses lethal force, but unlike Frank, Eddie uses his lethal protecting as a way to channel out how bloodthirsty he can get while reveling in the gore. He flings the shit at the bad people and fucking loves it. Lots of potential in a hero that just loves violence like that.

Since they pussified the symbiote in Space Knight, it'll be hard to have it be the little voice egging him on to eat brains like it used to be, but here's hoping being Lee's battered housewife gives it it's teeth back.

Also, rampant unfounded speculation, but could this be getting the hype going for a Brock-Venom movie? It's been in the pipeline for years, and the last time they brought Eddie back out of the clear blue like this was IIRC the Back in Black arc to tie into Spiderman 3. Kek, hear our prayers.

10/10 post, sadly Sony and Disney now have the rights to a Venom movie so it will probably be garbage.

inb4 they kill him and replace him with a transgender muslim illegal inmigrant woman

who punches trump*

Monkey's paw, user. Wish for a Spiderman movie and we get an okay first two movies, a shamelessly bad third movie, and two more reboot movies appealing to hipsters. If you ask for a Venom movie with the way the MCU is going then you're gonna get something terrible. I wouldn't put it past Pascal to make Venom a woman or make Eddie completely different from how you like him. Just be cautious.

they're gonna make him a homosexual, in a relationship with an illegal inmigrant nigger

and he will also punch trump*

Actually, there is already a female Venom.

In which comics did Eddie murder someone? Was it shown or some indirect bullshit?

I mean taking the Venom and Eddie we know and twisting them around for brownie points in the movies. This is not a matter of whether there was a female Venom in comics in one form or another.

...

...

Are you kidding me? He's killed countless people.

Oh yeah.

Too true, user. I'm holding out hope though, ever since I was 11 years old I've been waiting for it. Deadpool was in development hell for about as long, and in my opinion it turned out pretty good without venturing into meme-pool territory. And what's more it showed studios there's money to make in R rated cape flicks. Though I remember reading somewhere they were looking to make it outside of the MCU, which means no Spider-Man in his origin story. Which could be a very bad (for obvious reasons) or very good thing since they won't have him making Whedon quips every three seconds

Since I have an autistic repository of all things Brock, I actually had a full script treatment ready for a venom movie I wrote as an exercise in screenplay for a class, but I lost it when my laptop crashed last fall.

...

Go back to your containment board, leftypol.

So you're telling me you'll buy Marvel again if they stop doing what you hate now, and start doing what you hated before? You're being played like a fiddle.

No I'm saying people would prefer that and could handle that easier than they could with the shit we have now. We're all being played.

Didnt Toxin come along with like half a dozen other Symbiotes? Like a whole team of Symbiotic Aliens with their husks?

Tony Stark is a shit. A complete shit. Even just 1/10 of the capabilities of his own suit would be a miraculous godsend for LEOs.

Anybody else get triggered by gear like this? And moot etc not making a dime?

I wish the symbiotes would get different powersets other than spidermans.

Creativity is dead.

I can't go anywhere without seeing some lefty getting assblasted about trump.

burgers were fucked either way

but how did my new line got eaten?

That's their plan. Make an intentional decline in quality so that you'll miss the dark ages.

THEY CAN'T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS

Costa is a SJW though isn't he?

Depends, someone check his twitter.

I based mine mainly off Lethal Protector, a few different comics where Carnage appeared, and then included a few memorable characters from various Brock miniseries as the primary cast.

The thing took place entirely in San Francisco and the opening scene of the movie would be Brock sleeping on an airplane heading towards San Fran that was being hijacked by muzzies and about to be flown into the golden gate bridge. Only for Brock to go full Venom and kill the terrorists then be shot at by an Air Marshall, he then jumps out of the plain and lands in the San Francisco Bay. The media then claims Venom tried to crash a plane, so he's living as a fugitive in San Francisco while trying to be a lethal protector and become a better person, while failing miserably at it. He eventually gets apprehended by Iron Man, I wrote it after having just watched the very first Iron Man movie, I was a Freshman in Highschool I think. separated from the symbiote through sonics and thrown in a prison. Obviously he ends up in a cell with Cletus Kassady, the symbiote breaks him out after having escaped the Government facility it was locked up in and being tested on. Brock decides, since they cause more harm than good, that it's best for them to leave society entirely and live out a monastic lifestyle in a Catholic Monastery in Northern California wine country, but as he's finally starting to have a sense of peace in his life he sees a group of other monks huddled around a radio listening a news report that says a super villain that people suspect to be Venom is going through San Francisco slaughtering as many innocents as he can. Brock and the symbiote leave their solitude and go down to San Francisco for a big ass fight where they eventually kill Carnage after having led him to Coit Tower where they set up a sonic trap in the park, as the sonics go off, both symbiotes are weakened and it becomes a naked brawl between Brock and Kassady, Brock then tosses Kassady off the top of Coit Tower and Kassady breaks his neck when hits the ground, dying.

There was a lot more to it than that, with lots of little details and stuff, but I'm sure no one cares. What was yours like?

He's a liberal, but he's not an SJW. He writes softcore porn comics.

Thats reassuring

Oh wow, how long did it take to come with all that.

God it was years ago at his point, freshman year in high school even. It was set after Spider-Man 3 (the spinoff was announced after we flipped shit over Topher Graces version) so I tried to fix all the wrongs with SM3 while still holding to that universe (They hadn't decided on rebooting it at the time)

It starts with Eddie Brock Sr. Coming from San Francisco to NYC investigating his sons death. Since Grace was junior, the real Eddie is the dad. Big, muscular, older dude (David Boreanaz was and still is my pick for a good Eddie Brock) using his investigative reporting skills to figure out what happened to his son. Figures out Spider-Man killed him when he gets bonded to a surviving piece of the symbiote, who has an active, speaking role as pretty much the second main character. Meanwhile, Eddies wife calls him and says she wants a divorce because she just can't handle the sons death and the fathers obsession over it. Thus the obsession with Peter begins.

He starts plotting revenge, and I think I wrote in the scene where he visits MJ? I remember thinking that was infeasible in terms of production but it was an idea. Before he makes any further moves, he gets confronted by the jury and Orwell Taylor, who's own son was a victim of Topher Grace during his short reign with the alien. They fight, and at the end, he kills Orwell in front of a shit load of cops, who use the dead jury members weapons to bring him in. Movie would've ended with the alien abandoning him, him going to jail, and you know who his cell mate was. I had a whole trilogy planned in my head with Carnage/Life foundation as the bad guy in 2, and in 3 we'd finally get the Spidey showdown that he kept getting distracted from. I also remember throwing in a load of esoteric references to old school Brock/Symbiote lore like it needing chocolate, Carl Brock hating his son, and had Beck from Lethal Protector set up for his new love interest. But I only ever wrote out the first one.

It was probably god awful but I was so proud of it at the time cause my teacher gave it a B+ with the comment "Would've been an A, but isnt Venom a bad guy?" That fuckin cunt.

What a twat.

It's up to you, user.

...

What

That was a mouthful

Yeah she was a bit of a fuckstick, but I didn't care too much at the time because I knew I was true to the character. I did ask her what gives and she went on about likability and how she doesn't think people would connect with someone who technically still wanted to murder the shit out of a superhero.

The entire 90's comic industry disproved her on that, but it wasn't worth risking my grade in the class so whatever.

Peter Parker is Spiderman, who the fuck is Miles Morales?

.t normie comic reader.

Black kid from Ultimate Universe that replaced Peter after he died.

So bullshit fan-fiction that seeped has comics?

*that has seeped into comics.

I can't into english apparently.

Spot on actually. Ultimate universe line was all Bendis. A notorious cuck of the marvel industry. Miles is basically his black self insert.

Early stuff was good

Not really, it just looks decent in comparison to the garbage he makes now.

Well Spiderman was

...

There's always hope, brother. We can meme Marvel great. Just have to believe.

As much as I'd like to believe I need to see evidence that they're dedicated to unfucking thier shit. As much as I love Brock, him not being venom is not the biggest problem they've made for themselves lately, so it strikes me as weird that he'd be the first one who gets fixed

Baby steps. I understand your caution completely though. We can be excited for possible change but we must remember to use the power of our wallets to sway Marvel to the right direction. If no change is occurring, we no longer buy. If things rapidly get better and better then we can consider it.

Sure

We'll see

Do you consider the Symbiote arc to be "early stuff"? Because that shit was offensively bad. It's the kind of one-sided, shallow, hackneyed treatment I'd expect from a hypothetical Movie Bob script. And BMB's response was, "Eh, never really liked Venom anyway."

Never actually read Ultimate Spider-Man, only know about that arc through the game. How bad was it? I always thought the idea of a synthetically created suit was kinda novel. It eliminates the need to have the obligatory "asteroid brings alien" scene because no story outside 616 is gonna get into the beyonder shit

...

It adds up.

The suit's origins is not really an issue for me. Like the goblins being Hulk transformations instead of garish costumes, it was basically a superficial change to keep things fresh. Even the lack of an identity isn't a problem as long as you don't have a different person wearing it every six issues, because Venom is just an extension of Brock. What I took issue with is that Eddie is a total piece of shit from start to finish. He's a shallow, swaggering, douchebag stereotype. The suit is about his advancement and family legacy, not about its applications. He's a jerk to Gwen and expects her to be into him anyway. It's like Bendis didn't get the girl in high school decided to get his revenge by writing a comic book exposing how awful the guy she chose for prom was.

As to the story, Brock shows up, and reminds Peter that their fathers worked on a suit to bond with someone and cure ills (I think they specifically mention cancer). I can't remember how forthright he is with Peter, but the gist of it is Brock is getting cozy with him because he needs his help with the suit (coded to Parker DNA). The suit makes you crazy, because it's incomplete, so Peter wants to destroy it, and that's the final straw in all the problems that have been piling up for Eddie (blocked on his work with the suit without Peter, rejected when he moves on Peter's girl, Peter criticizing him at every turn). But instead of bailing with his hidden sample of the suit, to research a way to remove the crazy, he puts it on, because we need to get to Venom at some point.

The suit was made for Peter's dad, so while it just makes Peter crazy, it starts killing Brock. He becomes an edgelord, eating other people to feed the suit and keep himself alive. Brock's suit is a different one from Peter's (which was destroyed), so it has no association with Spider-Man, meaning Venom isn't a dark mirror (no webbing, no stealthy wall-crawling). Instead he generates tendrils like you'll remember from the game, essentially turning him into a buff Dr. Octopus that eats people. Also, the suit isn't weak to sonics, rather electricity and heat. So instead of a scene in a belltower, Peter just tosses his into an industrial smokestack. And in the end, Brock ignominiously dies by stepping on a downed power line. It's irrelevant that Brock shows up in later story lines, I'm positive Bendis wanted to kill him but shut down by editorial. If you read the afterword in the trade where Venom appears, Bendis is pretty clear that he never liked Brock/Venom and didn't show any enthusiasm to bring him back. He literally couldn't wrap his head around why people like a darker version of a hero who walks a path to redemption, thereby validating the philosophies of the hero. This is a man so consumed with ego that when it came time to bring up a Spider-Man rogue he didn't care about, he couldn't pass the pen to someone who would write a great story with an understanding of what people like about Venom's story.

Sorry for the long post, I just feel strongly about this. TL;DR, Bendis is a hack and wasted the opportunity to bring one of the most iconic villains to a new generation.

Hard to see file sizes on mobile, pls no bulli

So Eddie/Venom got a bum rap in a 2000's storyline because the creator didn't want/appreciate a classic and beloved rouge and decided to fuck the character because he was pissy that Venom needed to show up. Don't know where I've heard that before.

Fuck ancientfags who don't like Brock

...

Brock is a character who is specifically hated by Jewish writers. I'm not even joking about this. Hear me out, I'm not going Holla Forums. Brock is a Catholic, and the redemption stories that are so present in Catholicism have always played a big part in the good Brock stories, Brock is also an alpha male, he's strong, handsome, attractive, someone who allowed himself to let his ego take a hold of him and ended up forgetting what the right thing really was, him becoming Venom is the beginning of his redemption arc. In a way, he's the complete opposite of Parker. Peter is nerdy, awkward, ugly, and viewed by many writers as Jewish, often spouting Yiddish phrases like Oy Vey.

The most recent version of Brock, written by Gerry Conway (who is also a Catholic) really got what made people love Brock. Someone like Bendis can not understand why people like Brock, he's incapable of it, he views Brock as scum through and through. Go back and look at all the different writers who have done Brock, the ones who do him well, or at least understand him, have been non-Jews, the ones who hate him and deliberately try to make the audience hate him are all Jewish, they can't see past their own biases.

Personally I'm really looking forward to Costa's take on Brock since he is Hispanic and Hispanics often have a strong respect for Catholicism.

I forgot something in that dumb rant. Because Ultimate Marvel was the face of Marvel for a new generation, and combined with it's modern sensibilities, it is the de facto source for adaptations. So when Spectacular Spider-Man gets to the symbiote arc, it's just USM's with the edgy parts sanded off. The Raimi movie version seems influenced by it (never actually seen it, though, so grain of salt and all that). And if Homecoming leads to a successful line, you can bet that their Venom will get the same treatment.

Okay, sweetie, maybe you just need to realize that Venom has always been a stupid character, and Bendis is much smarter then you are. Bendis has been writing comics longer than you've been alive.

When are we going to start banning racists? They have no place on this board.

Jesus Christ, the bait here is so damn obvious.

Well considering they can't very well do a Battleworld Secret Wars thing, they kinda have to do that or make up something different to bring in Venom for the MCU.

Negated.

Second one was unintentional.

Your post doesn't even make any sense?

So they rape all of the stuff that used to make them good, spit in fans faces, and turn the comics into shitlib blogposts
But they're gonna revamp your husbando so now you're gonna crawl back and suck their dicks
You're pathetic OP

Well, the most recent Carnage serious with Brock in it was great. And the current Venom comic written by Costa is incredibly fun, so, yeah, I'm excited.

1) Remember, I'm not complaining about the symbiote as a suit or product of research, I'm complaining about the shallow characterization of Brock that gives you nothing to root for and no hope of rescuing the character.

2) Have you seen 90's Spider-Man? The symbiote comes from a moon rock, brought back by JJ's son. Amazing. Revolutionary. Complex crossover event origin circumvented.

Well Ultimates had it as a cure for cancer

What is your point?

Its current the go to place for adaptions now

You're a fucking retarded battered housewife
I hope you enjoy your gay tranny brock who whines about trump and "mansplaining" and protects dindus and mudslimes from ebil racists

For what reason?

Get this low energy bait out of our Brock thread you limp wristed cuck. We're too busy Making Eddie Great Again

...

Decent effort.

...

This one's better.

...

...

Why wasn't Anti-Venom good?

That sounds kinda hot/ What does she look like?

Anti-Venom was great, but he was OP.

Lame and generic. Like a Sonic OC. Scorn and Scream were both hotter.

Claim your Symbifu. Scorn, Scream, and She-Venom.

Venom. Not she or he. Just the Venom symbiote.

I love every single one of you damn nerds

y-you too

Wot, no Gwenom?

Is she from an alternate universe?

claiming symbiote Black Cat

Probably going to be some monkey's paw ordeal.

Anyone got a name?

No it's just fan art.

Fun fact though, Venom was originally gonna have a female host that blames Spider-man for the death of her husband and baby. They eventually went against this idea because they felt a woman wouldn't be able to do much harm to Spider-man.

No

She-Venom was Ann Weying, Eddie Brock's ex-wife. She commits suicide by jumping from her apartment because she's scared of the symbiote.

if they can bring back Gwen Stacy they can bring back Ann Weying.

They wont though. I imagine hardly anyone knows who Ann Weying is. What I hate most about the anti-Brock people is that they have no idea he's had an entire supporting cast. Remember when he had that junkie girlfriend as Anti-Venom?

Ann Weying has a very large fanbase if they let marvel know how much they like her we might be seeing her web slinging across new york in no time

lol, what? Why do you want to meme this?

...

This thread troubles me greatly, and I feel like someone involved needs to be put in a group home and monitored asap.

I've never had anything against Brock, but the utter creepy devotion displayed by someone in this thread is scarily autistic. Like somehow the entire line of Marvel comics would be saved by Marvel reverting the symbiote to your favorite host? Do you have any idea how retarded that sounds? He could still be written like an SJW, it doesn't effect any of the other books, it could be lip service, it's undermined completely if it still exists in the same shitheap with Ms. Marvel and Squirrel Girl.

Are you just gay and have a symbiote fetish? Just turned on by alien goop and giant toothy mouths?

What is your major malfunction?

They just really like the character and are hopeful bringing him and Venom back will be cool. Everyone's being cautious as fuck about Marvel and any chance of something cool happening. One guy is just really happy his favorite character is coming back into the light.

He's just a really cool is character, fam. Also his last writer Gerry Conway did a great job with him and the his next writer Mike Costa has been writing one of the best Venom runs in years. Also Devin Lewis is a Brock fan and he's the current spidey editor. The stars have aligned and things are looking good.

Maybe I'm being blinded by my own optimism, but I'm excited.

bring on the memes!!

I assume this is about me? Friendo, Ive been waiting for them to give it back to Brock since he sold it back in like 06. It's been a long time coming, and not a lot of things go right for me. Let me have this one thing to be autistically happy about. Pls

I mean yeah even if you don't count every throw away character that appeared once in all his nineties series he's got a decent cast of characters that gets forgotten a lot. I've only ever included Anne, his father, the five symbioties, Beck the chick who lived in the underground of San Fran, Jenna the drugged up broad from the anti venom days, and toxin. Anyone who came/went for one miniseries doesn't count and that's still a sizable group for a secondary character like Brock.

Where the fuck do you think you are, faggot?

I wonder if he would have a better chance at hearing the absolution he seeks in the DC Universe.

I also feel like I'm being adressed since I am absolutely autistic about Venom and symbiotes in general.

Another user described her as symbiote the hedgehog. It's pretty accurate, they really should have removed the pads, and boots. It would have looked better if she was just spiky.

Preview of Venom #150

Featuring Brock!

David Michilinie, the guy who created Eddie and wrote Lethal Protector will be doing a bonus story in Venom 150!!!

HOLY SHIT!!!

ign.com/articles/2017/02/16/venom-returns-to-legacy-numbering-with-eddie-brocks-return-in-oversized-issue-150

Is Gwenom canon, or just a variant cover, like Gwenpool used to be?

Damn Ann looks good as she-venom!!

I liked Agent Venom before they fucked him up with the Bendis crap. Whatever happened to him?

yea the Venom 'suit' was the villain itself. Showed up for no reason to kill Miles mom for shock value and that was about it

Whoa, didn't know there were 149 issues of symbiote goodness!

Bendis fucks up everything why did marvel hire that fucknugget? look at what he did to Ironman

Those faces are derp

Gewenom is a fanmade project

bring Ann Weying back Brock needs loving too

You mean as she-venom or just regular Ann?

why not both?

One will eat the other.

Ann should stay dead for the same reason Uncle Ben should stay dead.

same can be said about Gwen Stacy

Yep

Absolutely, all these Gwen revivals are shit.

either they both live or they both stay dead

Now you see here this is why they will definitely bring her back. If it's a bad idea you know marvel is all over it.

To be fair to both sides of this, they could've and should've done a lot more with Anne back in the day. It was very clear Eddie still loved her despite the divorce, but she really only became relevant when the story needed it (The Truce, her dying and setting him off the rails, etc). She should've had a much bigger role than she did because that dynamic of them interacting would've made for some interesting shit. In what other cape story does the main character try to deal with something like that? Nothing comes to mind.

Tl;dr I wouldn't mind if Anne came back, since there is so much potential with it, but at the same time I can't see a non-stupid way to bring her back and her death was a big deal in eddies story.

I can see why they want to bring Ann back this look at her

...

this will trigger some MGTOWs

That's pretty fucked, brah.

Stop it boner. That shouldn't be that hot.

>>>/tumblr/

scary and sexy

Are you going to story time or what?

Not bad

bringing Ann weying back would be a lot better than what marvel is spewing out these days

My spider-sense is tingling.

I have the comics if anyone wants a storytime. It's been done here before, but I don't mind.

Huh, I haven't read that one.

I would!

storytime pleases

You want the whole story or just the she-venom parts? Cause she wasn't very prominent in most of her appearances.

surprise us

Okay

Posted what I had there.

You probably accidentally stuffed it in your mouth while you were gagging on muslim cock.
