I think considering we have so many empty threads floating in the catalog and the only things that's been filling the front page back a couple months ago were nothing but waifu threads and porn threads, good discussion threads were being buried. You shouldn't have to hide 5 waifu threads and 4 porn threads on the front page because the only threads you'll see are abandoned threads that died because people only come here for mindless porn posting. I agree with this idea, compressing threads is a decent idea just to limit the amount of unused garbage in the catalog, plus most waifu threads only have one seriously autistic user bumping the thread for months with nothing but images with little discussion to be had, very rarely anyone else joins them.
