no.

Fuck no

Sort of

I like how he beat Radical in the end, but the rest of it did bum me out a little.

Anyone have and want to storytime some of the print exclusive comics?

Depends, what are you looking for?

I can only think of four
Gunnerkrigg court (the author has a raging dyke fetish though)
Unsounded
Lackadaisy cats (never fucking updates)
Endtown

I've got my favourites, past and current, but the cocksuckers on this board are literal pigs wouldn't know a good comic if you rolled it up and shoved it straight up their stupid retarded pig asses.

I'm guessing you like comics that people actively shit on here.

Just fucking post them already you nigger

No.

PBF but it rarely updates
Super Mega Comics

Good taste. Slow updates though but it's still coming out, and definitely worth it.

Yes, actually.

Morrowind levels of weirdness and world building. Insane levels of detailed artwork on every page. Monsters, demons, angles galore.

There aren't a lot of people who can pull off a story about the metaphysics of storytelling… but whoever does the Property of Hate comes pretty close, in dialogue and art style.

Mankind is gone. The ruins of our world are now ruled by the insects who survived us.

Stellar worldbuilding, a very well developed magic system, and peculiar cultures to peek at, can't recommend this one more.

A disclaimer; the people around here will have their own salt to spread all over these recommendations. Feel free to take heed of those opinions, vitriolic poison included.

Though they are better ignored. Mine included. Folks who feel that everything is terrible can be counted on to be experts in only terrible things, blind to what might be good. The same can be said for people who claim to know what is good, in that they are blind to what is terrible.

Figure out for yourself. Enjoy.

Haven't read it in years ever since it went full-on retard.

Stay Still Stay Silent. Pacing is a bit slow but its understandable with update 4 per week.
The story is about /k/ tier scandinavians killing monsters and stealing artifacts from post apocalyptic denmark.

Life is suffering for the creative man.

Maybe you can post it here so we can give some constructive criticism user. Maybe some feedback will help.

nedroid.com/

I fucking love me some nedroid. It's a shame he updates, like, once in ten years nowadays.

skadi? I know we had a thread on her already but it was pretty good. Though it hasn't been updated sadly.

Didn't Skadi end?

It finished the arc but left off in a way to allow for more arcs. There was one last comic but she hasn't updated yet.

These are my webcomic bookmarks. 2 of them update between once a year to never, and AZ isn't that good aside the occasional gem.

The artwork is superb!

...

Thanks for suggesting The Property of Hate, kind user. Reading it right now and it's good so far.

At least she updates

I lost respect of Lackadaisy after she had a meltdown and deleted all her metal gear stuff because people in 4chan loved it.

I love dark and macabre stuff, so Broodhollow is my recommendation: broodhollow.chainsawsuit.com/

The best way to explain it: If HP Lovecraft story is told with Fallout 4 comical artwork style

Forgive my lack of pictures.
I know of a few good/decent webcomics:

About two faceless mook soldiers trying to escape a nameless bombed-out city. Or get back with the rest of the army. It's pretty unclear, but great for shenanigans. And for those of you wondering, they do find a way out of the city. Two, in fact.

Named after the titular advice for dealing with a wandering 'troll' headed your way. It's about Northern Europe after an apocalyptic event. Anyway, it follows a group of only-vaguely-competent treasure hunters out to collect old world books and knowledge so they can get their employers rich. The art, just like GWTBW, is fucking gorgeous.

Take a fa/tg/uy, then shove him in a universe where wargaming and wargaming rules are literally physics. Very interesting writing with lots of references and things done to make the setting feel weird and parody-like. Unfortunately, it suffers from having artists come and go like you wouldn't believe. And a ton of updates were done in a text format. At this point the author may as well just write an Erfworld book and finish everything up more quickly. Anyway, author is a little but of a cunt, I suspect (he said, more or less, "I planned on making the [main character] a homophobic little troll" for whatever reason. didn't go through with it)? But ignore the forums and you should be good.

Extra mentions:
An anime-esque sci-fi comic about humanity's first contact with a race of psychic blue space babes. Lots of interesting tidbits and lore building and whatnot. INCREDIBLY HAMSTRUNG by the INCREDIBLY SHIT release schedule. There are only 112 pages out, and the comic has been going for at least 4 years now. Also, that worldbuilding and whatnot? Because of the shit release schedule you need to go to the extra info section of the site or the forums to get your fix. Unfortunately, the author (who is an artist by trade) is one of those "I do science gud," individuals who think that a highschool diploma, a link to atomic rockets, and a brain make them qualified to spout pseudo-science (and pass it off as real science) about how their setting works. So you'll get exposed to that in the forums.

Not sure if this even deserves a stop on my suggestions list. The art is.. okay? It's not bad, but it's nothing compared to SSSS or GWTBW. It follows the adventures of the artist/writer's Only War campaign. Features a grimdark execution, grimdark managing of human resources, grimdark secrets, and that special flavor of incompetence expected from player characters.
If you don't know 40k, might not want to check out Eagle Ordinary.

I thought that was hiimdaisy, not the Lackadaisy girl.

Wasn't it both?

Kris Straub is a steaming pile of SJW shit.

Can you explain I don't really follow the personal life of any of these people.

That's a retarded reason to dislike a comic.
If the author's political garbage is leaking into their art, then that is a legitimate reason to dislike something. That's why his other comic, Chainsawsuit, is trash.
But to dislike something purely based on the author's completely unrelated political views is retarded and petty.

But yeah, he kind of is.

PBF is the only good webcomic.

Which?

Looks like Camp Weedontwantcha have ended too. Fuck.

What? It ended? Fuck.

How did it end.

Ask the other dude. Not me.

Like this, after the end of the previous story arc.

So, no conclussion?

No.

Fuuuuuck that.

That last arc was such a huge clusterfuck that I'm not sure that I feel like this was a conclusion that was even being hinted at.

The whole story was "Save the President, stop Radical" but then that happened and the big dramatic finale was, "oh yeah, Dr McNinja gives up and finally decides to be a normal person."

I wanna say Miss Melee but its more mediocre/average than anything.

Never hear of it

Monster school adventures.

But I need people to tell me what to think!

Oh, wow. I've never actually seen a Western comic pull off the Manga look before. It took me a solid minute of reading it right-to-left before I realized that it wasn't a Japanese comic.

It got shilled her a while ago. Essentially its a comic about a female superhero who comes out of retirement and is also a mom and wife. She has no powers other than martial arts. It doesn't set up the world that world. Her daughter admires her and tries to become a vigilante like her. Miss Melee's husband and daughter don't know she's a super hero. miss-melee.com/

Are you sure it's actually over? I mean, the whole "thank you" makes it seem that way, but I can't actually find anything that explicitly says that it's ending.

Fuck, this is actually kind of frustrating. It'd be a whole lot less annoying if they just came out and said it was over.

Huh, must've been a loss then.

It's actually not too bad.
Not great, but not bad. I recommend giving it a look if you have nothing better to read.
That said, the creator badly needs to do some more world building. The lack of world building is, without a doubt, the weakest part of the comic.

Sure i'll take that in mind.

This comic removed a few strips during a hiatus, and then mixed key elements and phrases of them in with new content when it started updating again. I was sure I'd seen the new strips before, but couldn't find them even after re-reading the whole thing. I was legitimately questioning my own memory until I discovered what happened using the wayback machine.

Must've been a mind fuck.

Storytime when?

Maybe he did that to fuck with our mind? I mean the comic was supposed to be a Lovecraftian horror comic where the characters in the story can't even rely on their own mind since a lot of things faded after a certain amount of time. So he did the same to the readers

LookingForGroup went to shit almost instantly. Shame, it had potential. Still want nudes of that bosomy dwarven chick.

Wow really? WhT a tard

I used to read tons of webcomics during the boom but the only ones I still have rss for are Achewood, Bad Machinery, Nedroid, Oglaf, and Penny Arcade (more for the podcast than the comic.) Everything else either they quit or I got so lost I just gave up following it. Ultimately the medium just doesn't make sense anymore. If you want stuff to read manga is instantly translated, easy to access, and has a huge community around it. Western comics are easy to pirate as well. So unless you can hit some super specific niche you'd be better off flipping burgers.

Peanut Butter Fucking?

Time to end it all

Time to move on

Wow, and neither the author nor writer are nips. You could slap a scanlator team logo on a page and tell me it was some hot new mango and I'd believe it. The artist really gets a lot of the fundamentals of manga.

Full retard in what way?

Just checked.
No fucking wonder it has that manga aesthetic nailed down so well. She does it like the actual pros do.

faaag

All the good comics I used to read were pulled by their creators.

Well, he no longer has to spend time coloring Dr. McNinja three times a week. Maybe he'll divert more time to think up Nedroids.

Unsounded and Kill Six Billion Demons are both really good.
Ava's demon is alright too.

should I read the huge wall of text under the kill six billion demons pages ?

I don't see any way for this to go wrong.

You could read in sections

Two Kinds and Uberquest are the only 2 webcomics I still read regularly.

This.
Romantically Apocalyptic has always been on the fullest retard of the full retard scale since its inception.
Though judging from its recent updates it might be treading upon highly divisive politishit, which is pretty much guaranteed death for webcomics.

I think it's because she's redoing the previous comics for Webtoons. Speaking of I've been enjoying God of Highschool. It's dumb shonen stuff (but Korean) but the arts good and the story ramps up to the point of fighting gods with martial arts. Even has the occasional feels.

It got updated in October last year. Unless the author came out and said he was shelving it.

Why

Misguided nostalgia maybe.

Is the apprentice still dead?

Yep. I think the author ran out of ideas for him and prefers the silly one-offs.

The comic did start off as a genuine attempt at porn that degenerated into sex comedy pretty much immediately.

I looked up Uberquest and the website is down because of updates or something. Has it been like that for a while?

A good few of them are dead, or completed, or on hiatus.
But I'm a VERY bitter ex-cartoonist who got chased out of the industry, and these I can stand to read without launching into another emetic polemic on the miserable fucking state of the industry.

dubs checked.

Surprised you posted that here since some people freak out about it? So did you do webcomics or were you like an animator at a studio?

Underground. Minicomic and zine scene.
Pre-internet, and not American. You wouldn't have heard of me.

Make us into hipsters then. Tell us about yourself and your work.

rice-boy.com/

I used to read Paranatural as well but I stopped doing it regularly around the time I left 4chan and thus the update threads.

Neat. You should post some of your stuff.

I'm really not proud of it now. I was just imitating Jaimie Hewlett and Vaughn Bode, and making a mess of it.

I'll show you the pedophile hack whose clique ran me out of town, though.
hunter.apana.org.au/~cjb/Ashworth/

Yeah, at least I have the satisfaction of knowing I drew and wrote better than this asshole.

Just reading the beginning of that page I can tell this guy is very pretentious.

Mah nigga.

I've been thinking about doing my own webcomic called "Primer", think 7.62 high calibre but with more a definition on the morality of man and other pretentious type shit

whats it about? Judging from your description it seems to entail some philosophy and weapons.

Pretty much. The main story is like of said game(company wants someone dead for selling drugs/ killing someone else/being a witness) takes place in the 80's Mexican/latin american jungle. Main character way over his head, lost contact with main company, and must kill who ever, take what ever, and pair up with anyone to complete his task because he is pretty much a tool of whatever company he is placed in.

Interesting, sounds like the game Spec Ops the Line. Or just the whole Heart of Darkness type of thing.

Achewood updates still, but very sporadically. The author already stated he's taking another hiatus to focus on his main career, which he's been doing for the last couple years.

Achewood (and Onstad, for that matter) is one of the few webcomics I truly respect: it took advantage of the HTTP model without being obnoxious, had amazing characters, never fell into the SJW deathtrap and did comics out of passion (when he felt he had to stop, he stopped, no regrets or sense of responsibility to the overrated "fanbase", simply because he knew the stories would be terrible).

I kind of lost interest in webcomics a while ago but then I got reminded of their existence when someone posted an It Hurts! reaction pic. I checked it out and it's apparently still updating and still keeping the style of "like one of those wacky webcomics where weird shit happens all the time and everyone shrugs it off, except actions actually have consequences and there's no cosmic reset button to put things back to the status quo", which was unique and funny and had some actual emotion behind it, so I found I still liked it.

I also came across this gem and was laughing for like five minutes straight.

Anyway, some other comics that were on my list for a while were Ava's Demon, Unsounded, and Poppy O'Possum. Are any of these still updating and (more importantly) still good?

Also, I'd like to pay my respects to the dead.

RIP Sinfest. Even before the phrase "Social Justice Warrior" entered the common nomenclature, I knew that something was terribly wrong when Tatsuya started on his feminist kick. And suddenly, an entire world died as characters were reduced to archetypes and witty social commentary gave way to mindless hamfisted preaching.

RIP City of Reality. A fascinating world full of fascinating characters, which I would have loved to see more of. Perhaps one day the author will get off his lazy ass and actually continue the stupid thing (and restore the archives, which have been down for over a year now), but I doubt it.

And RIP Penny Arcade. A textbook example of how a creative work can lose all of its soul and edge when it gets too comfortable with itself and starts going mainstream. Few still remember that there was once a time when Penny Arcade was good.

The feels. The website dissaperead, and the author didnt say anything about it. Possibly too busy doing transformation fetish shit.

Actually I did read something about it on his Tumblr saying the archives were lost and had to be recovered or something? And that he still wants to continue it but something is keeping him from doing so? But that was a long-ass time ago and it's still down.

I still have no fucking idea why he did art for The Wotch. City of Reality was creative and innovative and funny and fascinating. The Wotch is… none of those things.

I have searched it

tran4of3.deviantart.com/journal/On-City-of-Reality-638209977#comments

Lets see if at least he bother to post the archive.

Because muh rule 63/Transformation fetish. Thats why.

Whomp is good, and Alfie by InCase is the best porn comic hands down except for the femdom stuff

Spoiler that shit, but its alright incase suffers from same face.

Mods do it automantically and if you're browsing any board on this site while in a risky area then that's your problem.

Its been off and on the past month or so.

Only good webcomic left is Awkward Zombie. Its not that great, it never was, but you can always count on it for laughs and its devoid of any political shit.

I honestly didn't think Penny Arcade could get any worse. The art is just as bad, if not worse, than your typical tumblr-tier webcomics and most of the strips are just blatant shilling now devoid of any real humor. PA truly died after the mall zombie plague arc.

...

My main complaint with the art was that it's gotten much harder to make comic edits out of. Yeah, you can brute-force something out of any page, but it's less enjoyable than the old mix-and-matchability of the simpler art.

Why the hell would you buy something like furniture online?

Instead of getting any better or practicing any sort of fundamentals, Piglike has trapped himself within a stylistic bubble that works strictly for his shitty comics. The only times he ever tries to improve is when he's trying to add some weird photoshop effect to his comics.

Otherwise, it's all the exaggerated gestures and features he can cram into 3 measly panels.

Because they needed an excuse to shill Amazon somewhere in there for their corporate master of the week. PA is the most shameless whore in webcomics and its forum users are the best thin-skinned loyalists they could ask for.

>Check out the latest Furby pet robot toy! Buy it now because it can emulate typed in words! Also this totally has to do with games and new nerdy technology!

Pretty sure he still has a couple of ongoing webcomics. Then again you said good, so…

It's fucking weird when people enjoy stuff, isn't it? Like just fucking hate everything until you kill yourself, please.

Fug, it was the only reason I was reading that shit.

Not sure, I don't follow the Lackadaisy artist.

I never heard of any Metal Gear anything done by the Lackadaisy artist, or of her deleting any of her old stuff. Just checked and it's still there on her old site.

Camp Weedontwantcha didn't end, they just decided to take last Friday off to "focus on the good things" instead.

Oh…. ew. Now I wish it did end.

Many.

Too bad they're too "sjw" for your hypocritical tastes

And then there's this asshole.

Assume I don't have any bias, but didn't pay attention to the webcomic scene in a couple of years.
Why don't you list some of your favourite webcomics?

whompcomic.com/ is good.

Because he's obviously trying to stir shit up and doesn't actually have any suggestions.

Is that a loss edit?

Gee willickers, you sure showed him, miss thang, like totally.

At least try to give a good reason why you're defending blatant crap that's hated by almost everyone outside the Penny Arcade forums.

The author isn't that clever, but the unintentional similarity is quite humorous.

...

There is a bunch of good manhwa web comics. Bastard is pretty decent one. MC is beyond frustrating though.

I've always been a fan of String Theory and The Meek, but both of those are so damn slow to update

Wotch is updating again. Oh wait, you wanted good webcomics. Sandra and Woo and Schlock Mercenary.

Explain?

Does he? I can only think of one pair of dykes in the comic

God, I miss City of Reality so much.

Any archive of his work?

This

Of his other work, sure. I can't find a source for City of Reality. It's really shit because it's one of the only webcomics I can think of that actually took advantage of the fact that it was hosted online.

For example, one chapter was a Choose Your Own Adventure, where if you chose wrong the heros died. Also there was the time one of the characters time travelled and the author showed this by going back and changing the archives.

Truly a loss.

Shame

Zimmy & gamma
Kat & paz
Possibly parleys two galpals are dykes together
And the robot and shadow are faggots
That's an unusually large amount of gay

The only problem with unsounded is all the niggers and their fantasy version of wakanda

Zebra Girl is okay if you enjoy nonstop long-ass arcs of grimdark and killing off any remaining sense of humor originally in it. Though the art's suprisingly very good now, especially compared to when it first started.

Sci-Fi adventure comedy? Some drama and romance, but it's not the focus. Huge archive, has updated every day for the last 17 years. The old art is bad, but you can watch him improve if you archive binge.

Updated my bookmarks :^)

...

...

mine is good this one is good martianmagazine.com/

Elaborate a bit

From the three comics you posted, it looks kinda shit.

Don't you know? Any comic that expresses an unpopular opinion you hold is automatically funny.

The art is kinda meh.

thank you

redpanels.com/ is good

Cartoon machine

I laughed at the last two pics.

Castle vidcons

It's mostly good because it aligns with my opinions, so it's refreshing.

I just discovered this guy. If you can get past the Trump cartoon on the front page, lol.
comics.shipsinker.com/

He does some long running fanfic crossovers, Dr. Who and suchlike. His art is a bit unfinished, but damn if he can't capture the essence of each Doctor in a few strokes.
He mostly works with other writers, so naturally he's got a lot of unfinished works. Fucking writers and their MOODS. Mood's for cattle and loveplay!

"The Ten Doctors" GN is particularly good, even if the low res scan of pencils does make me want to claw my eyes out. It takes a deft touch to juggle ten main characters and a small army of companions.
Worth it just to see Ace and Rose team up, double Colin Bakers, and the Fifth Doctor drawn with Tintin eyes.

redpanels is mostly shit, and i'm conservative.

Your comic is good when it's being really edgy (it feels like nedroid but with a dark, twisted, and violent sense of humor), but you need to avoid jokes that Holla Forums has already made a million times (like the pic on the left), unless you can think of a really funny variation. Also, work on your drawing skills. Most of your human characters look like ass, your lines seem shaky, and your perspective with scenery looks off.

by pic on left i mean on your post, not my post.

I solely disagree with your opinion

I enjoy this one. Nice designs and color.

Has anyone been reading Paranatural? I remember it being good but I haven't kept up in years.

Didn't that series go downhill or something?

idk I think the artist is still updating. I haven't been that into the latest chapters though, probably because I'm not too into the romance of Harpy and prince as everyone else seems. But I've never been into shipping stuff in general.

Webcomics are suffering.

Tofauti Sawa a pretty harsh webcomic about hyenas in the African Savannah. Gives me feeling of not child-friendly animal movies like Watership Down, Ringing Bell, and Felidae.

The author doesn't update as often, however. Still it surprises constantly with twists, and is one of the few I follow for the story over the artwork.

Do webcomics that began ad webcomics and eventually become more count?

Redd was posted earlier, so I'd say so.

Is it cool to storytime webcomics?

if there's a particular arc that you want to show, sure

thanks user

user, you say that as though it were a bad thing…

Fucking kill yourself holy shit.

Sure.

Haven't kept up in a few months. Artwork is great, setting is comfy as fuck, and so far the story has remained engaging and funny without giving in to any preachy shit (it's about a bunch of middle schoolers, so I have the feeling that it's more safe from succumbing to SJ bullshit than alot of other webcomics).

Haven't kept up because I'm afraid that someday, it will, and then I'll have to face the pain of watching one of the top-three best webcomics I've ever read turn into irredeemable trash.

I remember when I used to read that, but the art has gotten blander and less experimental
and the story and cast don't interest me that much any more. Interestingly enough, this artistic decline also started when the author started exhibiting SJW-ey traits like swearing off all the 4chan readers.
