So, while celts, britons, Scandinavians and the like got that treatment by the Christians. After converting eastern europe they did not record anything for those slavic groups.

I think you misread the post, when roman and celtic pagans (western pagans) converted practices were preserved either historically, or brought into a new christian tradition, meanwhile the eastern pagans were for the most part deprived of their religions thanks to the wars and following religious occupation.
