Dear lefty pol /Islamicstate/ and /Islam/ mod here, as a person familiar with both peaceful pacifist Islam and violent jihadist Islam I've come to propose an idea of sorts and was wondering what your opinion on it was I asked Holla Forums and atypical results happened I asked /Islam/ and they were more or less not interested due to possible fear of being monitored by the FBI.
Now here's some info about me I've given three FBI interviews, I'm currently disabled but waiting for a judge to sign off on my SSI again, and I've been featured in a memri article. So I'm not worried about the FBI or charges for conspiracy or anything because I'm not doing anything illegal.
So here's the plan, make an NGO designed and targeted at, at risk Muslim youth, train the and reeducate them with CVE assistance & create a moderate Muslim militia inclusive of various sects and ideologies. The goal is to advocate for shariah for Libya and secure the country for them/with them since they already have a semi functioning constitution ( needs a bill of rights, examples of how shariah will be implemented and some context for certain things )
The best bet to do this is to secure the oilfields and generate revenue for additional soldiers then work on peace treaties between tribes and work on unifying Libya once again under an Islamic republic.
My plan is to assist them in doing this and to assure mutual aid to all parties willing to come to peace talks over Libya if this is a success then the model (of a moderate Muslim army/militia) can be replicated, further funded and utilized in Yemen and Afghanistan to restore broken or disfuntional states. By creating Islamic republics we can gurentee individual and minority rights are firmly protected, peace is assured by appealing to the aspect or shariah law which most Muslim counties want and democracy is installed to provide voices to communities and ensure that all parties are represents and heard.
I submit to you my plan as a means of identifying any problems I might have within it or surrounding its parameters, I'm open to changing it and would like some feedback thank you. also happy 4th of July.

Actually the goal is to bring everyone to the table for peace talks there wouldn't be an instance of taxation due to religious preference. Maybe if your Christian or Jewish but I don't think that's an issue.

I think how to deal with extremism is address the psychological and economic problems of the individuals. This will take away their vulnerabilities at the source. I am not sure how well that could be pulled off in Libya though.
What is so moderate about forming a militia?
Will that only apply to Muslims or everyone in the country? If it only applies to Muslims then what would you do when someone leaves Islam? Would non Muslims be given equal rights and have secular law? Does each ideology of Islam get its own sharia? Sorry if this is covered in the doc, I did not want to download it just to view it.

As for non Muslims it would be appropriate for them to have secular laws in my opinion As for each ideology no, only Sunni Islamic shariah would be appropriate. I Don't think the doc covered your questions but I would advocate for secular laws for non Muslims.

Jizya is extortion. It would lead to conflict in itself and an eventual uprising of the oppressed. It makes no sense to apply an Islamic concept on non Muslims. It is oppressive because it lowers non Muslims economic status and i used to represent a lower social status. So if I get this right you think sharia should be the law on the governmental level and the secular or other religious laws are not associated with the government which is the purpose of the tax because you are treating these people like people renting national land?
I think that is doing things backwards.. The government and legal system should be primarily secular but if you want sharia you could have sharia allowed and regulated by the secular system. So sharia would be the exception to the rule. What this does is satisfy Muslims and non-Muslims alike. The law would make sure sharia only carried out in a controlled manner with specific punishments specified to prevent things becoming too brutal. You make sure to write in that no jizya or zakat is paid by the non-Muslims and no apostasy punishment.
For proposed laws that are not covered in sharia both Muslims and non Muslims vote for it one vote per person because it applies to everyone.
For voting on proposed laws which cover subjects already mentioned in sharia law the votes are counted differently because the Muslims already have sharia law while the law for others is not set yet or is able to change. Either you count the votes in a weighted method, for example lets scale this down and pretend there are only 110 people, 100 of which are Muslims and 10 non Muslims. Each Muslim's vote is worth one but each non-Muslim's vote is worth 10 so 10 non-Muslims have equal power to 100 Muslims. If that is too complicated to you then you can have it so proposed laws already mentioned in sharia will only be voted on by non-Muslims.
