Not enough horseback fighting to be real samurai

Wasn't the point that there werent many samurai left? There was some horses involved from what I remember.

Samurai were a class of people above others in a highly stratified feudal society. They were the oppressors, and yet we have this very strange culture of glorifying the oppressors when it comes to feudalism. It was right to wipe them out.

There are those who are better and those who are lesser. The cream will always rise to the top. No matter how many times you kick over the game board.

And what about their descendents a hundred years or more down the line? Did they do anything to deserve the hereditary privilege of belonging to the samurai class?

How many even survive, and live a cushy rich life because Samurai? What if the descendants started investing the original money and fortune in other stuff?
And seeing how autistic the Japanese are, I don't think they'd pamper samurai descendants just because great great grandpa was a samurai, with them doing fuck-all, though I may be wrong.

Wasn't Akira Kurosawa a descendant of samurai, and that he tried to portray both the peasants and samurai for having flaws?

Reminder that Japan has been cucked to death by America after ww2. Whatever romantic notions of the samurai class has been shat over like white guilt.
