I came up with an idea when contemplating the search engine processing power argument.

What if instead of (((echoes))) we started referring to whatever/whoever we were attempting to flag as being jewish by typing it sdrawkcab.

SA is from a bygone era of the Internet along with other websites that either have shut down or slipped into irrelevancy but the *chans aren't far behind.

Having been on the internet 20+ years, I've seen it happen over and over again. The userbase of the imageboards probably has reasonably shifted from teenagers to 20-somethings but eventually the number of people leaving the site outpaces the number of new members.

Even 4chan will die off but it'll take a long time given the number of users. A more imminent threat, imo, is that censorship of the internet will be successful as normalfags don't give a shit. The remaining *chans will shutdown either due to censorship or the legal fees start resulting in a net loss. Perhaps even webhosting/credit companies come down on *chans or anything they consider too altie because they say the content "dangerous".
