For one not having to reupload a file again just because you had to input a captcha, instead the captcha box would come up in the reply box and ask to be solved, then the post would proceed. How hard is this to make? It was a big QOL improvement for me, another thing is that somehow videos and pictures load very slowly compared to opening them in another tab and in Next this wasn't a problem.

The software worked fine until cripplecuck fucked it up with his dudcode captcha that he couldn't be fucked to spend more than a few minutes on between playing GTA naked. Then Jim tried to steal the copyright so he could close the source which is the only reason we aren't using it.

Preserving the post data with an unsolved captcha would also be a solution for performing captcha validation on Holla Forums before file uploads are performed. But codemonkey doesn't know how to do this because he's fucking retarded.

That's because it has zero document caching. Take away the caching on Holla Forums and watch the desktop servers melt. In fact, it'd probably start a fire, considering how unoptimized dynamic templating is in infinity. Next is nowhere near as bad. It was so bad, cripple gave up on it within a week.

Also, the way Next was benchmarked was flawed. Due to the way the fucking retarded captcha was implemented, it was generating a new captcha per session, on page load. What a stress benchmark was testing was really how fast captcha generation was. Which, unsurpsingly isn't very fast, especially on a shit desktop machine from 2010 with captcha generation done in PHP and manipulating the image pixel by pixel, not through actual gd calls, no. Sine functions in the PHP interpreter.

This has been attempted to explain to you fucking retarded dicksuckers time and time again, but it just falls on deaf ears. Any attempt to switch the servers over to Next, especially with retarded brazillians hammering away at the server with benchmarks stressers that don't use shared cookies, didn't work.

The reason no one brings this up is because it shows a failure on everyone's part: on the Holla Forums-dev channel, on gookmonkey, on Jim for providing shit hardware, on Cripple for writing a dogshit captcha, and on Josh for doing implementing per-session captchas, and for not realizing that exposing a dogshit unoptimized cripple captcha, without a form submission first, has dangerous consequences.
