I can sort of see the appeal. It's small, lightweight, no nonsense, purged with a single click etc.
On the other hand, if I was paranoid about posting somewhere I'd rather use modified firefox which renders the whole concept obsolete. Especially if your main browser doean't save history in the first place.

Install umatrix.
Configure it to block everything and unblock when you need.
Install µblock origin has a fail safe if you allow by mistake shit from uMatrix
Install Https everywhere and block non-https traffic.
This is the simplest thing to do.

I use GNU IceCat so I'm somewhat safer, but Firefox is trash and we need to work on replacing it, not shilling it.
JavaScript was a mistake.
All it sends is telemetry (crash/performance reports, etc.).
The initial install information it sends is bs, but it can easily be circumvented by disabling WiFi, running FF for the first time and then toggling all telemetry off.
I'd love to use IceCat, but it's not on the Debian repositories and I can't be assed to wait 2~3 hours while it compiles from source.

Well if a website suport https but per default it redirects you to the http version HTTPS-everywhere forces https when possible.
