I'm of Frisian descent having lived in Haarlem since birth and moved out of it only recently for a village further up north and wishing to move back to my ancestral province eventually.

Haarlem is probably one of the most liberal voting cities in the Netherlands and that is because people don't know niggers and Muslims very well. It's a city that for some reason is very much defined by its districts. There is the "Leidse buurt" which is a very inward group of low income natives that doesn't tolerate outsiders no matter what race. A bridge and a street away you are in the "Bos- en Vaartbuurt", where the "new rich" resides. The Portgieterbuurt, often students, et cetera. As such the biggest district, Schalkwijk, known for its housing of immigrants and poor quality apartments barely has its problems spilling out into the other districts.

Only recently it has become worse and the hypocritical leftist parties that has ruled over the city for years just decided Schalkwijk is up to renewal and they are taking the shitty apartments down for newer, more expensive ones. Thereby moving the problem into other cities and villages and they can keep in power.

Overall the Netherlands, in my view, is fairly quickly shifting to being much more nationalist mostly thanks to the incredibly retarded European Union and socialist because of our incredibly retarded government. The only party people can turn to is the party no-one wants to admit they'd vote for and that is that Israeli puppy pet Party of Freedom headed by Wilders.

More than that right now people seem very apathetic to national politics now every politician is a confirmed idiot. And I absolutely hate my degree, not because the material is horrendous or anything like that but because around 80% off subjects have teamwork accounting for more than 50% of the grade. Now I get it teamwork is part of a degree, and it should be covered. But so much of the curriculum teamwork? Puts me off so much. But I'm stuck with it now and got to finish it. Just going to fill up my minor / choice room with subjects that have no teamwork so I can work in peace on my degree.
