Basically the show is about Andre 3000. He is a famous musician but gets bored of the life of a celebrity so he goes back to his hometown to become a music teacher at school. There's this one black kid who's specialty is the drums and he's a huge fan of Andre. The black kid is the main character and gets picked on a bit by the big black girl. Its done in a funny friend way rather than the stereotypical bully. Think of it like Arnold and Helga except the black girl doesn't have a crush on the protagonist. Andre teaches the kids class and they have musical adventures together. The show can get educational with different music genres.

That premise is actually pretty interesting. To bad this thread is started with so many salty people.

Then the guy sued them saying he wanted every single cent they earned, plus a bunch for damages, based on the fact he had a black kid, an asian, a ditzy white girl and lanky adult figure, and the courts laughed him away.
Still, negative publicity for the show, and Andre 3000 wanted to go back and make songs with his homies.
