This is a common trait amongst the current generations who most likely have never had a fist fight with someone else, let alone win a fist fight. Most people are scared to "throw the first punch" and even if someone who's attacking them throws the first punch, they'll most likely not retaliate.

Spain has no credible right-wing or even centre-right political party today directly because of Franco. The only impetus towards anything remotely against the left is the threat of Catalan/Basque secession, and we all know (((why))). Even though those are 2 of the leftiest provinces in Spain, Madrid needs them to survive, unlike the UK-Scotland situation where Scotland is dwarfed demographically and economically by London alone. Franco was very unconcerned with the bigger issues, reportedly the one time he met up with Hitler he spent the entire time talking about farming while Hitler wanted to talk of the communists instead, and Hitler never wanted to see him again. Franco also spoke English on national television once, and it was horrendous. His voice in general was too high pitched and his face too dim looking. And similar to England becoming Britain and Italian provinces becoming Italy, Spain was an amalgam of different kingdoms, that united to become one of like the top 5 oldest currently still standing european countries, along with Portugal. So great was Spain that Spanish has recently overtaken English as the 2nd most spoken language in the world, behind Mandarin, and this may be due to mulatto breeding more rapidly than a group from European stock, but it goes to show how far and wide the Spanish empire's arms reached during its prime time. Hell , even Rodrigo Duterte's, the Punisher's, country has a little bit of Spanish culture and language mixed in now due to the Philippine colony.

But despite its past greatness, Spain in general is too lax on too many issues. They integrated themselves into the native american cultures. The countries that gained independence did so not by the hand of the natives but Spaniards who fell in love and believed in the cause of these foreign lands to be independent, even in the south of Spain many romanticise the history of the Islamic invasion. It had its high culture but for the most part fucked over white Europeans and severely lacked the altruism of most great European civilisations. The majority of the rest of Spain does not like talking about nor does it praise the Islamic invasion though, it's mostly in Andalucia.

Even now Spain stands as one of the better european countries - despite its crushing debt just behind Greece, Italy and Portugal, and its beginnings of Muslim ghettos and black chimpouts in Barcelona, it is still one of the most visited countries and tourist destinations, it is still quite loved and regularly visited by most other European countrymen, and it still has a good infrastructure investment with its long distance trains and a decent sized, not too cucked army. Thanks for the insight. Spain is somewhat of an enigma to me, although admittedly I simply don't know a lot about it. They seem to have some greatness in them even though these days most spaniards seem to view their future grimly.
I also recently read a post about how spain got a similar treatment to 20th+ century germany in how they were demonised and their history downplayed. I think it was called something like the black lie.

Even now many family members of most of Spain, not even very old ones, are shocked to hear if any youngsters date arabs, and beyond andalucia dating arabs is like being a korean and dating an african, it's really that rare and sort of quietly socially pressured against

Some from Andalucia do look like Sicilians / southern Italians, but in general southern Italians can look a little darker/more mixed. I think this might in part be due to Italy having an island even further south, and it might not even genetically be that they are more mixed, rather just darker.

One thing I would say is important here though is the facial structure. I have come to notice that even the darkest person on average looks european in their nose, eyebrows, mouth, jawline, even compared to very light Moroccans for example.

Probably the one drop rule applies here, even in terms of Arabs and not just subsaharan Africans. Very little admixture of the caliphate that invaded Spain can easily overwhelm many prominently presented phenotypes such as skin colour being light brown as opposed to pinkish, eyes being brown-green and hazel to dark brown, and hair being even jet black and curly not straight. Also chest hair and sometimes beard growth. These are very obvious when looked at on the outside, but genetically there is often very very little admixture in Spaniards despite this, hence their facial structure, generally middle European build (not Nordic tall but clearly taller than south/southeast of Europe, and athletic/slim built), Spain's IQ etc.

Spain has its great past scientists/inventors and artists/writers, (Don Quijote is supposedly the oldest novel in Europe, and known worldwide), Spaniards easily assimilate into other cultures, even other Western ones, and generally there are little to no despicably negative stereotypes of having Spanish neighbours in foreign lands. They're just Spanish, and that's cool, and maybe they have sweet Spanish food. Do remember that America's 'melting pot' has always worked best when whites/Europeans mixed, and even great differences such as the Irish compared to the Italian compared to the British Americans and all the tensions it brought is nothing considering their progress working together and compared to Arabs or Asians or Indians or Africans self-segregating and very rarely working together in a tight enough unison to achieve wonders.

So yea, a little admixture, often silenced by Nordic Circlejerkers (of Spanish and even non-Spanish origin) (no disrespect to Nords), but also often greatly exaggerated by liberals wanting against purism and nationalism, or globalists pushing for 'we are all the same.'
Spain is just too big and tall (north to south) that the 'average' Spaniard can have quite the range of phenotypes, it may touch France, Portugal, and Morocco, which many other EU countries touch others too, but France and the French who might immigrate can be more Nordic and/or Germanic (even considering south France looks more Mediterranean), and the south walls off the Arab world, plus the history of the Arab invasion.
You know, during past empires, Greece used to be paid, for free, for being a wall to Turkey from the rest of Europe. Spain never really got any benefits from anyone (not that it ever asked or needed any) for being the other border from the Arabic world.
