I'm assuming here that the Trump campaign has offices across the nation and that they have a limited access level to the campaign information.
It is probably going to be in writing as i know through the grapevine that Trump hires high level cyber security contractors to ensure their network is secure.
It is not uncommon for campaigners to write login information down so they might have been able to login to the network and steal limited confidential information from that compromised location.
