What went wrong?

What went wrong?

What didn't?

I did not felt that the director, writers, actors, and any other producers had any passion for this project. Mike "the Cuck" had mention he loved the scene where the dino nerd rant about commercialism.

Jurassic Park to me is about the imagination of living an adventure a long distance past with the company of majestic animals that we could never see in real life. The atmosphere is the most important and underrated quality in the movies. It felt like a frozen living museum and the ruins of the add the creepy atmosphere. That is why I like Jurassic Park 3, I am totally immersed inside that world. Jurassic Park 2 is too damn preachy, but the atmosphere is great for a few scene.

Jurassic World remind me of the horrible world I live in. Everywhere, there is human, there is technology, the kids are annoyings and felt forced into the script. The raptors lost their charms, all the dinosaurs lost their charms. It felt like the Lost World and worse, far more preachy. far more depressing. They either forget or ashamed that JP's great beauty is in the escapism not about the messages about the dangers corporations and science advancement.

This movie are too full of nostalgia whoring, full of cynicism, full of unbelievable circumstances, full of retarded plot points, and lack of immersion, tension, beauty, and adventure.

Not a scary dino flick.

It's the adventure that made the first one good and why the sequels fell flat. It felt almost magical in its presentation.

nothing could have gone right tbh

Everything else was passable and kind of believable, although, like the park, it had an overpolished feel of corporate consumerism. Even engineering a dinosaur for the military didn't strike me as too out there. They didn't adequately capture the wonder of the park/island, which has always been a feature of the movie and it felt like it lifted too much style from monster movies such as Godzilla.
Other than that I suppose it was an interesting new take on the classic platform if you can accept the genre change.

I still like the third one. The atmosphere and adventure are still there when they ran away from the T. Rex and met the Spino, ran from the Spino to the ruins of the breeding facilities, then to the foggy bird cage, surviving the the Spinosaurus attack in the stormy, rainy night and enjoying the views of the exotic extinct giant animals at sunrise.

This everything went wrong

And trevorrow is doing star wars ix lmao

To be fair, corporations are kill us all, as well as the planet. No harm in saying the truth.
weird that they inserted the anti-corporate "nerd" character to deconstruct the movie INSIDE the movie, are normies finally grokking po-mo?

I thought about your post and I agree in regards to cynicism. Making meta jokes and commentary about advertising and capitalism and its tendency to ride roughshod over values ("Samsung Experience Center") in a movie is still advertising and it does come off as very cynical. It was effective in a way and people sort of responded to it well enough, but I think it's completely unaligned with one core idea of what Jurassic Park films are supposed to be. That said, I think based on the rest of the film, it was unavoidable and made sense.

He just a puppet. What could he do anyway?

The first three did it better in telling the "trud".
To me, it just a signal that the director resigned his fate to the Faustian pact he signed to be able to direct a film.

The cynicism were there from the the original trilogy, they just handle it better. This new film is more like a personal rant about the movie and culture then a movie, if you know what I meant.

Only good thing about this movie was chris pratt. Dude hits on bitches, fights dinos, rides bikes and gets away with having a pedo stache.

CGI was okay, but i stopped caring about visual effects since i knew they would shit on winston's legacy. Film was part of the rebooting sequel trend, which I immensely dislike already, very few have done it right or well. Acting was all over the place, writing was pure trash, faggot in the office with the jp tshirt was reddit incarnate (hipster/cuck hybrid), shit was predictable, and the t-rex was in the movie because fanservice.

If I had to pick between watching this and the cuck awakens, I'd sooner jump off a bridge. TFA gets away with literally being filled with jews and nonwhites, but JW just felt insulting to my intelligence as a whole.

JP3 is the most underrated in the series. The fact that nobody mentions it tells me everyone just wants a dinosaur horror movie at this point, which is a shame.

I guess I always fanced the lost worlds tone tho even though some of it is bad

On a scale relative to eachother

JP 10/10
TLW 7/10
JPIII 6.5/10
JW 1/10

Jurassic Park is a beautiful blend of science fiction with its social commentary and escapism with its thrilling adventure.

The Lost World went too far into the social commentary. The protagonists are retarded animal lovers and the antagonists are the greedy corporations and their lackeys.

Jurassic Park 3 went back to the adventure part, drop the social commentary that they beaten to death already in JP1. That is why I loved it and why the critics panned it more than TLW. The only thing I hated about it is that it did not finish the series right there, it felt unfinished and like a cash grab.

JW is nostalgia whoring, meta-commentary and just schlock. The only good scene is at the end where it is written by a kindergartner playing with toys.

Honestly didnt focus on the socisl commentary of the lost world. Speilberg had done schindlers list after JP and the tone of them on the barren island just was kind of sweet. It just felt more dangerous and speilberg knows how to use effects. I loved the book tho . Crazy how they used the raft scene from the original book in JPIII and the carnosaur camoflauged as the new dino in JW.

(Cont) The carnosaur was from the book the lost world. I agree with everything you say tho JPIII besides some script moments is good. I actually remember seeing it in theaters for my bday as a bday party as a kid

The final battle between a T-Rex, some velociraptors and the Mega-T-Rex was just fucking retarded.

Is Speilberg the only way the series can be saved? Or is he too old and grumpy to create something magical again. Fucking hell just get Christopher Columbus

Of not him an R rated jurassic park is the only other option.

Michael Crichton wasn't alive to fix their fuckups.

He completely lost it towards the end of his life.

Spieljew is too busy working on indy 5 to care what happens to jewassic pahk

Lol no, that faggot was the worst. Muldoon and Tembo were like cowboys with many years of experience who took their job seriously. Dr Grant was a comfy father figure. Pratt had none of these charm, he was a fake and obnoxious prancing homo, straight out of Josh Whedon flicks. He looked totally unbelievable? Why did the want the reddit audience so bad?

Because they are the only ones stupid enough to pay to watch movies.

Did she really deserve such a horrible death?

that's the phone chick? damn she a qt

i.. think you misunderstood my post. the film is absolute shit, but chris pratt is literally the only part worth watching because he isn't shit. shitty writing, yes, but he fails gracefully while trying to salvage it.

Are you 5 years old?

that's literally it

The mistake was not remaking Jurassic park this time with more accuracy to the book also we need a Muldoon character that blasts Dinosaurs apart with a bazooka already. (quote from book):

"The animal on the left simply exploded, the upper part of the torso flying into the air, blood splattering like a burst tomato on the walls of the building. The lower torso collapsed to the ground, the legs kicking in the air, the tail flopping."

Chris prat barely used that man purse prop gun he had slung around his shoulder for the entire movie he and the rifle were useless.

eating from the trash can

Yea probably the only good part of the movie

Eh

No bully on coffee filter socks tit girl.

For some reason I keep thinking about the word 'Mercedes' whenever someone mentions this movie.

That motorcycle scene? The lead actor looked derpy in it.

Other than that not much.

What was this bitches problem?
