When It All Falls Down still really puts you on edge despite its faults and Prodigal Lincoln seems like his best written work so far.

Well I actually like Sweet Spot episode but that's because it got a very simple plot going on. Butterfly Effect is a what if story so it's easy to write. Overnight success and this one pretty much only make Lincoln look and act like a jerk.

Limo episode is actually one of the best structured story for a 10 minutes run. It started with Lincoln befriending a bad influence, he turns into a jerk because of that, then when it crashed and burn he realized he's in the wrong but he still amend things in the end by pulling some strings. Perfect morale story. 9/10

I rewatched Brawl in the family, and the episode would have been good if they just added one more scene.
Most of the bitching about the episode came from the fact that Lincoln was the one trying to do the right thing because leaving stuff unresolved is a really dumb idea, and there's proof of that around the episode but I think both Lincoln and the sisters were wrong. There will always be bad blood if shit goes unresolved, so the sisters fight often because there's never a real resolution of their problems. However, Lincoln was trying to do it his way and pushing it. If they only added an scene were the sister apologize to each other while Lincoln isn't around it would have prove that both parties were fucking wrong. You'd have the same final scene to show that, since Lincoln will just spill hurtful things the sisters say to each other, and it will be a funny ending with an actual fucking resolution.
They were both wrong, no big deal. The actual ending is shit because only Lincoln wasn't right, even when he was the one trying to do the things right, even when his way of doing the things right wasn't the right way, and obviously the sisters way isn't right either. Hell, maybe they could just show how the sisters made up and that's it.

I'm not sure exactly what the problem is. Is it because Lucy tries and fails to "watch and learn?" That shit makes me embarrassed, partly because watch-and-learning isn't something I can do well at all, because sperg syndrome, and it makes me mad when people don't understand that.

When the writers and director moved to another project it's pretty hard to keep the quality up.
