no

so cute. you probably post CP bareback, don't you

Nah, I don't have shit taste to post or watch cp.

...

Kill yourselves

What?

not baiting tbh

No. I don't post cp at all. But if I did, I'd certainly take precautions.

Just because I don't think every question is ""datamining"" doesn't mean I don't think the FBI has a presence on the internet.

End thyself

...

this thing is broken

it's been well known for years that this specific test skews towards left libertarianism

I'm a liberal and I like browsing the Chans. It very interesting to observe. :)

Clear notifications fag

For the most part, I'm a liberal, myself.

I'll take chans any day over liberal hugboxes, with their moral posturing and obsession with proving to the world how "open minded" they are. Holla Forums is a bit too over-the-top for me tho; I loathe the atmosphere for pretty much the same reasons why I detest the SJWs.

Authoritarians aren't liberals, simple as that

this test is biased for leftism

you are a bunch of identity politic faggots tbh. Learn to think for yourself for once

...

Libertarian checking in

underrated post tbh

...

...

i swear in 2015 i was center bottom

Yeah, most "right wingers" are actually classical liberals with common sense regarding immigration policies.

Holla Forums has taken over Holla Forums.

It means that you've matured.

Good man. I salute you.

I swear they could make a "dox yourself" thread on Holla Forums and you retards would do it.

On it.

Funny. And I voted for Trump, hahaha.

sAGE POST SQUAD

That's what I'm talkin' about
Also, how many anons in online political communities do you think choose answers they know will be accepted by their hugbox to avoid getting flamed?

...

Move out of the way, faggots. Master race Holla Forums is representing.

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I supported Trump also.

I hope no one here is stupid enough to change their answers based on what others think. The only time that is remotely understandable is if you could lose your job due to your views.
I have no problem with people attacking my beliefs because they are logically sound and easy to defend.

...

Am i alright as a human bean ?

Ayyyyyy lmao

Samefagging, I'm an International Politics student, final solution a gogo

Fuck it datamine me baby

Anybody below the center axis is pretty OK. The left/right dichotomy is practically irrelevant.

The only important factor in todays society is liberty vs authority.

im somewhere in between these two, but the questions are unclear as to their intent so i had to do it twice and select "agree" and "disagree" depending on my interpretation of the wording

...

...

politicalcompass.org/chart?ec=-4.5&soc=-5.38

this test seems way more kiked than the last time i took it
Like what kind of retarded question is that? And why is there no "i don't give a shit" button? It puts you in a position of having to have an opinion on stupid shit like
because it forces you to select an option

This is not a political test, this is a social signalling test and propaganda. The questions are all framed in a way to favor faggot leftist cultural values.

forgot my chart

True, the questions are way too vague.
The best way to do this would be to provide examples, and let the participant chose from there.

Anyone have any good political compass tests?

politicalcompass.org/test

Was surprised by my results.

If you consider yourself anything but liberal… you're not. Christ, I was Bernout and tested further to the right.

If you are libertarian you basically default to the left because things like drug legalization are considered left for some fucking reason when that should really be on the vertical axis.

kek

I think this is somewhat accurate. But legalization of drugs and gay marriage and abortion is liberal. Period. And for some fucked up reason, in the US, accepting the science behind climate change is also liberal. Plus, he wouldn't have tested so far to the left if he didn't believe in certain regulations.

But if I remember correctly, the test isnt very specific as to whether you think the Free Market or government would be best to tackle certain issues.

this is b8, right?

Climate is changing, but it happened for billions of years and has nothing to do with human activity.

This guy is part of a tiny minority. Nice cherry picking tho.

Lol. Only on imageboards and conservative echochambers would this be considered b8

Holy shit, user! You better let all of the scientists know! I mean, they definitely don't have access to the graph charts that you've seen on Holla Forums.

The fact is, that's not incompatible with the main concern–that is, that the planet is warming at a rate of around 10 times the average rate of warming after a cooling period. Literally no one is disputing the fact that the climate is cyclical. No one is disputing that there have been extraordinary spikes in warming in the past; however, those spikes have been attributed to huge volcanic explosions, and they caused mass extinctions.

careful user, your irony is dripping

I hope they will again

Do you know what "cherry picking" means?

I'm starting to agree. I hate the human race more by the day. It would certainly reduce a lot of suffering if we died off.

Surprise surprise, the board has been flooded with "left wing but 2 kool for reddit" fags.

Excellent analysis.

The people concentrating on the left/right dynamic instead of the authoritarian/libertarian dynamic are equally as fucked in the head as each other.

...

But left and right on the libertarian spectrum can mean a pretty big difference; e.g. the difference between leaning towards government control and preferring a Free Market.

Authoritarian leaning people are the only ones truly fucked in the head.

You're so edgy and kool.

Educate yourself on horseshoe theory.

Also brain yourself, pls.

I know Holla Forums loves to act like they are far right but they just aren't.
PS I'm a left leaning libertarian with a decade on IBs and 3 years on hatechan. If you were here in 2014 you would know Holla Forums was pretty much classical liberal until the influx of edgy kids when moot nuked half/pol/.

This statement contradicts your previous statement, but I agree with it. It's the only scale that truly affects us negatively or positively. A completely free market or a heavily government regulated market means little to the population at the end of the day if they 'suffer' personal liberty. What side you land on means nothing to the population under an authoritarian government - either side is utter hell.

It doesn't exactly contradict it. I think people to the right (especially far right) on the libertarian spectrum are profoundly wrong-headed in many of their positions, but I wouldn't immediately question their morality the way I'd question it with an authoritarian–that said, if you're far enough to the right on the libertarian spectrum that you reach Ayn Rand, I pretty much consider you a horrible human being.

What, exactly, is that pic supposed to prove?

Nothing. Why do you assume that any image posted on an imageboard is meant to mean something?

Look guys, we got a REAL fuckkin intellectual over here!

...

Well, I thought you might be attempting to give an example that supported your claim. Silly me.

Don't confuse the left with the extreme authoritarian left, that is a common mistake people make. Once you manage that ask anons opinions on things and you will see a lot of classical liberal answers.

Basically if you support freedom you end up ticking boxes for "left" and "right" but there are more on the left with gun ownership bring the only libertarian ideal assigned to the right.

meep meep lol who cares about politics tbh

Holla Forums has always been right.

Was on 4/pol/ before Holla Forums was even around. Never spent much of any time on 8/pol/. Always got the impression that they take their shit way to seriously. None of the fun that there was on 4/pol/.

Being too new to have been on 4chan isn't a badge of honor, it means you're a uppity newfaggot.

Left is not necessarily liberal. It historically has usually been liberal in most places, but it is not necessarily. What is considered left or right depends on time and place. The modern west has had the left taken over not by progressives, but regressive, who are extremely conservative. The right has stayed largely the same as the last several decades, but the left has somehow pushed them into being the ones left to defend liberal ideals like free speech.

I was on halfchan for years before moving to hatechan when the 4chan mods when nuts trying to remove undesirables to increase the amount of shekels jewt could get selling it.
It's sad you missed half/pol/ before 2013 and full/pol/ before mid 2015, both use to be a lot of fun but both have been fucked by idiots that would rather shitpost than make reasoned arguments.

Agreed, I think the term "alt-right" was invented because the extreme left doesn't want to acknowledge that the "alt-right" is basically classical liberals.

Holla Forums was created as a containment board after stormfront invaded /new/ and moot shutting down /new/ only caused them to move to Holla Forums and other boards he actually cared about. Holla Forums was never good. It was always an attempt to contain invaders. Just because tumblr invaded Holla Forums and moot ignored and eventually sided with them when they took over the rest of the site, doesn't mean that the users are Holla Forums were ever any better. It just means moot is a hypocrite, which of course we all know already.

Yes /new/ was better than any Holla Forums but 8/pol/ was as close as any board has ever come to recapturing that.
Here are some caps of the halfchan bans I was talking about.

4/pol/ was great for fucking around. If you want hardcore politic go elsewhere.

Where? Name a site that allows all political discussion without the mods shutting it down.

Holla Forums Holla Forums tbh

faggots

Sad but true. I was on >>>/politics/ and >>>/liberty/ for awhile but they are both dead now.

it was invented because the modern right is filled with neocons. a new term was coined to distinguish the political group concerned with its people and their traditional values from the political group concerned with lining kikes' pockets with more shekels

current 8/b/, funnily enough. 4chan was sold to the datamining jap. And 8/pol/ is a fucking joke. Last i was on there they were handing out bans like candy to anyone that questioned the israel-loving trump (muh 4d chess).

If you can ignore the pedo's and mods that hate their own board, 8/b/ at least has freedom relative to elsewhere.

It does feel a bit like the last bastion of truly uncensored, relatively open-minded political dialogue between 4chan and Holla Forums.

Lol *saved*

Technically, I think Nietzsche's philosophy would fit into the libertarian right (towards ancap), but I'm not so sure he would have wanted his philosophy to be translated into modern politics.

nietszche hated politics with a passion so i think it's irrelevant to view him as any sort of political philosopher and try to ascribe ANY political meaning to his metaphysics

as an intense individualist i can see why you might want to lump him in with the ancap camp, but like i said i think it's unwise to do that. it'd be like trying to say Stirner who as a sort of proto-Nietszche would have been an ancap simply because of his existentialism/egoism

Well, sure. Being someone who considers themselves a center leftist (far left on political compass) I don't find myself agreeing with right wing Libertarians, for example.

I had a Libertarian Facebook page advertising themselves in my feed regularly. I'd often speak up when people were against their posts concerning freedom of speech, which popped up regularly, but when they were pushing some dodgy economic policy (I think it was regarding health) I put forward the notion that they were balmy and before I knew it they banned/censored me.

So I definitely find myself leaning towards social liberty, but find economic liberty… ill-conceived, to put it lightly.

...

Right, that's pretty much what I was suggesting. But I find that many socio-political theorists who are heavily influenced by Nietzsche–like Nick Land and Ayn Rand–tend to lean towards ancap/social Darwinist bullshit.

I do wonder how Nietzsche would process todays political climate. He'd probably just kill himself.

Holla Forums does this tbh

SJW detected

Holla Forums is the definition of groupthink. with a mod that dictates the spectrum of what is rightthink, while banning for wrongthink

anyone that isn't pretty much this is cancer

Anybody who aligns that closely with Clinton is cancer.

i don't think the average person actually aligns with who they vote for at all. republicans and democrats are both the exact same economically, protecting private property, there hasn't been a leftist candidate since reagan, even Bernie was pretty right-wing as far as leftism goes in that he was a socdem advocating for something like Proudhon wanted.

but today, the only difference between republicans and democrats is social issues, which have literally no bearing and are a complete distraction from what used to be the actual thing separating leftists from right-wingers. the overton window shifted way to the right and it's just all neoliberals running the game now

Yup, we're all fucked.

...

idk what it means though

neat.

Holy shit, that was pretty close, I actually have to post the numbers. Overall very satisfied. I do believe the government has some responsibility to regulate morals of the populous, and I do believe the populous should maintain a level of higher standards and moral responsibility for the success of the state. However, I also believe corporations at the highest level require some regulation, lest they undermine the government and the liberties of the people. I also do not believe the government should micro-manage peoples lives ( sex between two people behind closed doors is not the state's business, natural drugs should be legal and it's foolish to waste money regulating them, it would be better for the people themselves to uphold such values and be responsible enough and mature enough to handle such things. Drugs aren't the problem, education is the problem, educate people on drugs before trying to regulate them)

Wow, and for good measure I took the 8values quiz and it actually said the same thing without me even trying to have it say the same thing

Guess I'm just boring as fuck. Although I will be the first to say Americas brand of classical liberalism is probably the best system in the world

that image is not accurate at all trump isnt that authoritarian also hillary should be a little down and slightly to the left

was trying to be as honest as possible. some questions dont even have anything close to what I believe, only selected something to do the whole test. Like the abortion question. abortion for people below the poverty line or on gibsmedat should be very cheap and easy (for niggers), but if you are wealthy, it should be illegal. Same with birth control.

kindly gas yourselves

this "political compass test" is not in any way good, detailed enough, or constructed in a way which will truly reflect somebody's position. it is literally just a meme

>

Holla Forums's political compass is actually exactly top center. National socialism doesnt give a shit about the free market

National Socialism is a leftist movement

I was expecting right wing libertarian, but Nope. Right wing Authoritarian, apparently.

twst

dsfasd

Makes me proud to see so many reasonable people on here. Guess Holla Forumstards are just the loud minority.

Love it.

fucking leftist phaggot you!!!

I usually get -4x 4y so I guess that makes me a nazbol, which I think is accurate.

The old bolsheviks were degenerate tho. Stalin good, Hitler good. Shame they fought.

tbh

Are you retarded? Gaddafi was a 3rd positionist autocrat. He had full control of oil assets among other things.

Been same spot for the past decade

Test is still a fucking joke

...

Gaddafi was pretty left-wing economically, but at least he was for sound money. I was thinking of what to name the file and for some reason, I decided to name the file after a guy that tried to provide housing and free healthcare for all.

Honestly, Hillary is a moderate/right-leaning centrist at best. Her only policies were "It's my turn!" And we would've gotten 4 fucking years of another president who takes a hands-off approach to any kind of controversial topic while mindlessly supporting whatever policies make her popular with whoever shes working with (in other words; right-wing policies for the military and foreign policy, and left-wing domestic social policy) Just like fucking Obama

Trump is a bit closer to libertarian than authoritarian also, with his de-regulation policies
