A question to all the honorable pirates of Holla Forums:
Does anybody, by any chance have a Dan vs torrent by the hash of
also known as "Dan Vs. Seasons 1, 2, & 3 [720p] [WEB-RIP] [HEVC] [x265]"?
Alternatively, just 720p mkv rips from a ripper by the name "pseudo".
The torrent seems to be cripple, containing only ~70% of the files for second and third seasons on every tracker I have checked.

The one I listed in OP has all the episodes in .mkv. This one has mp4s.
Who cares about torrent sites?
The beautiful thing about torrents is that as long as people are willing to keep the files, restoring a network is easy as cake. It's enough to store magnet links. All of piratebay could literally be replaced with a single text file, if you have the patience to search it.

In the case of dan's torrent, it's true.
But in general, mkv's support a wide range of different quality encodings. At high resolutions, mkv's will almost always achieve better quality-to-size ratio than mp4s.
Also, mkv has a wider support for different audio/subtitle tracks
