Bullshit, I'm a socialist and we need a socialist European Union. We'll make sure to sink the brexit AT ALL FUCKING COSTS, fuck these fascists. I'm not just English, I am European.
Also the REMAIN will win. You guys have lost.
Isaac Wood
I just voted to leave. Feels good.
But the European Union isn't socialist, you useful idiot.
Gavin Gonzalez
Prickly plz ban this fgt
Colton Hernandez
Holla Forums is not a synonym for 'lack of reason'
Hudson Cooper
ayy lmao
Brody James
You are a complete reformist retard. The European Union is nothing more than a means to consolidate capital. Faggots like you almost make me want to go full reactionary sometimes.
Hudson Stewart
Yes. That is why I voted to leave.
Benjamin Murphy
Nationalist lefties are the cancer.
Dominic Russell
The EU is a corrupt neoliberal super-power. You're confused or trolling.
There's nothing socialist about it, the weaker states (e.g Greece) are fucked over by currency union, power is centralised. We don't need to be in the neo liberal club to trade with Europe and travel there without visas.
Cameron Watson
They won't be allowed to leave. Public opinion is being manipulated and if somehow the people actually do vote to leave, the election will be rigged in favor of staying.
Hudson Green
I'm annoyed that Greece never left. My dick would never be flaccid again if they just flipped Germany the bird over the debt.
William Bailey
They'd side step it by being in the EEA which amounts to the same thing at a cheaper cost without a vote or ability to change policy.
Liam Smith
???
Easton Walker
I know more than the average burger but I'm still not completely familiar with European politics. What's the EEA?
Elijah Williams
It's disgusting, that's what the Greek people voted for. They needed to default on their debt and switch currency so they could export with a devalued currency and increase tourism and work themselves out of it. Instead Germany kept them on the hook because they wanted to recapitalise German banks. That's one of the problems with the EU, Germany have too much power and they care about Germany first. The Euro suits them because it keeps exports artificially cheap but if the weak states go belly up we have to bail them out
Tyler Cruz
EEA = European Economic Area. Norway and Iceland. Gives them get out clauses over fisheries and whatnot.
Owen Scott
European Economic Area it's what Norway are in, it's a trade agreement with the EU for goods, services and free movement of workers
Everything points to remain winning. Welp… I hope you Owen Jones' remain types are right but I think you're dead wrong.
Aaron Peterson
Greece doesn't want to leave the EU. We (the commies that are not KKE) want to leave the Eurozone.
Ooooh nononono! The majority is cowards and a whole "it's not about leaving the euro" campaing had to be set in order for the people to vote no. If the wanted out, they wouldn't reelelct SYRIZA by not voting at all.
The greeks voted "we don't want THIS deal" aka "We want a better deal". But then Yannis was sent home and the rest is history.
Anyway, leave/stay doesn't really matter for the common man.
Anthony Wilson
If leave can manage 45% or more which is looking possible there's some scope for another one down the line if it all goes tits up
Julian Martin
There was no process in place to kick EU members out, they should of been allowed to default and stay an EU member on their own currency. Let Germany repay their banks directly for the bad loans.
Brayden Collins
Yes, that's the point of Grexit. Exiting the Eurozone and going back to a devaluated as fuck Drachma.
And since we live off tourism, a weaker currency would mean more tourists that would also bring exchange and prosperity LONG TERM.
However, this would pose the question, what about Greece's gold that is stored (even if virtually) in the Central Bank? What about the Euro itself? Why wouldn't Spain and Italy also leave? And how would the north survive without the south buying?
And this is why Germany doesn't want Greece to leave.
Colton Morales
The Brits voted for Brexit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Daniel Nelson
You think a lone UK is?
Adam Martinez
kek, I don't work like that
Gabriel Sanders
bamp
Easton Cook
This.
This has just made nationalism worse, I will laugh when commies here think that this will help bring a revolution rather than putting it twenty steps backwards.
I don't really give af about the EU, I voted remain so Scotland could get another referendum. Things are looking good for radical lefties in Northern Ireland and Scotland
Logan White
I guess you faggots are happy now. Say bye bye to your socialist utopia because full fascism soon.
Blake Bailey
No, but better one capitalist government than two.
Isaac Murphy
CALLING ALL COMRADES TO SCOTLAND AND NORTHERN IRELAND
Revolution is in the air I can smell it ( ° ʖ °)
Seriously England voting leave but Scotland and Northern Ireland voting remain is one of the best things that could have happened, we now have an excuse
Noah Cruz
...
Jaxson Fisher
We will eventually crush them, comrade.
Evan Brooks
If that really is true, then the left has no-one to blame but themselves.
Kayden Brooks
How in god's name was the EU some kind of magic bulwark against fascism and capitalism?
Just look at Hungary, or look at the austerity the EU is enforcing all over Europe. The EU doesn't care about fascism and is very keen to enforce capitalism.
Eli Turner
It wasn't bulwark against fascism, it's not as if such parties are barred from election.
Brexit was largely a backlash against Muslim immigration, and to a lesser extent social liberalism. I think this backlash was bound to happen eventually, but now it will come with an economic downturn or collapse, in a situation where the Left are perceived as supporters of the causes Brexiters voted against.
Hunter Flores
So then it hasn't brought about an era of fascism and capitalism. It's merely a symptom of what was inevitable.
And I think it's Labour's own fault for siding with the status quo rather than trying to change the course of this momentum. They've massively alienated the working class and they have no one to blame but themselves when the working class decide that fascism is the only thing for them.
