I think so too. Little refreshing. Hopefully it goes to some good places or at least doesn't fall too hard when sales numbers get it canceled but Squirrel Girl will somehow be allowed to continue.

I think the writer just likes good lowbrow comics. The only social justice thing I've ever seen connected to him was that porn comic which no one on Holla Forums could tell whether it was satire or serious.

These mini-venoms could make great reaction images.

Blame Dan Slott for that one. Superior Spider-man punches her, she goes to prison, swears vengeance, escapes, becomes a crime lord.

It's not like so much ztuff they publish but as someone who has read both Brock Venom and Flash Venom i can honestly say that so far for a venom story iit's not exactly what i personally like but it's better than Bendis.

I hope it will surprise me and change my opinion because the character feel too edgy at this point for me and i'm not too with what seems like a like of research on symbiotes and how they work

Call me crazy like of tuch with comics but i thought the zymbiote doesn't work like that, I don't recall other symbiot host being able to mentally dominate a symbiote or at LEAST not like that and since when did this symbiote was able to stand in a fire like that?

We've just never really seen the representation of a host fighting back against the symbiote. You have to remember something though. Venom is weak now. On it's own it's almost like it's dying. So Lee can take advantage of it quite easily.

The fire thing is Bendis too. For some reason he made it so fire doesn't hurt Venom.

I don't know if this was intentional on their part but it could work. Like Kylo Ren is a wannabe Darth Vader, Huxley is a wannabe Tarkin you could've done something interesting with it but they did not.

The movie is a remake of A New Hope, it was intentional, but it wasn't self-aware. Just shit.

The annoying thing is, the movie could have been way more interesting if they had the "Empire" take the place of the Rebels in the original trilogy, as an under equipped guerilla force, making use of rusty old equipment, gradually rising in power. At first you would show them as nothing more than an annoyance to the new Republic, but then at a certain point of the movie maybe they could gain control of a superweapon, launch an attack on the Republic capital, and make their grab for power. Of course, Hollywood are so in love with the underdog story, that it would have been inconceivable for them to make the bad guys resemble the underdog.

I think the symbiote is actually withholding the information from Lee that it encountered Felicia before. That would be really clever writing.

The editor has got to know, hell, he mentioned Ann Weying and Patricia Robinson in an interview. Devin Lewis definitely knows his symbiote history. Probably why he allowed Gerry Conway's Carnage to go for a full 16 issues and promise that it go on long enough for it to tell a complete story.

stylistically theres also way too much black around their hips and legs and it simply looks off & that whoever was drawing this was abusing black to compensate for a lot

It can be fixed by having him punching with his left hand and erase Venom's leg from the scene. They really need critical editors to fix this fuck uppery
