i see none of the threads i have unhidden get bumped or move for HOURS on end. even if the posts were all happening on threads that i have hidden, i've got the stubs on, i would SEE stubs move to the top of the board when it happens, yet i see nothing.

i'd say we have at most 20 posts per day, not per hour, or something really weird is going on with the code.

Its a rough estimate using numbers from September and per-spam numbers of Novemeber to quickly estimate the general number of posts per hour. This is all from memory though and general experience from being an active person here since 2014. I also don't feel like pulling excel and start a bi-daily numbers count. And it only counts general posts not necro-bumps or single image bumps

Mods, don't give a shit and not enough original content is being produced or even promoted.

Boards like Holla Forums, /monster/, /a/ and /rwss/ promote OC creations through board events and daily stickies. But boards like Holla Forums, the mods do shit and leaves the place like a wildwest saloon. The difference between a random board and Holla Forums is its moderation and content, the right balance between the two is key.

Codemonkey has been doing a great job at fixing shit, and putting some new features in. He's fixed the Tor posting, he's building up the homepage, he's dealing with daily spam attack and patching up the loopoles, he raised the image limit/ webm limit to 12mb from 10mb, he actually posts on /sudo/, Holla Forums, Holla Forums and Holla Forums. With out Jim's support we wouldnt have a place to host Holla Forums, just look at /rwss/ because 4chan moved their servers to California they started to implement a shit ton of new regulations there.

This is probably the most stable year Holla Forums has had for a long while, also consider the site didn't explode when Holla Forums reached 4000 UIDs, that's a fucking feet!.

Okay i'll give you that but that was more of a site wide problem that needed to be addressed. And if I recall it took them around 3 hours maybe less to respond to a obvious spam attack while me and a couple other Anons tried to focus a single thread on the first page to warn others on Holla Forums.
