That's her left hand. Her left thumb, to be exact. She has both hands behind her as she's leaning on the bollard. We hear and see the object when her right hand leaves it, but her right knee buckles just before it as well. So I'm thinking either she had something in her right hand and dropped it and we only see when it bounced back across her pant leg or she has some sort of brace hidden underneath her clothing to help her stay upright and it gave way, thus leading to the object clanging and falling out her pant leg as others seem to believe.
