She is free to seek office but if she is unable to carry out her duties (she can't if she is thus fucked up), then she can't be president which makes her running an issue in itself. In the end, the decision to disqualify her would come from the party or if her doctor rules her unable to do the job, much like how some people are ruled unable to do a job and have to seek employment elsewhere or go on disability.
