I completely understand the point about unions. At least, in my country unions are heavily politically entrenched to their political parties and are in no way eager to subvert capitalism . They're meek, only protesting for slight regulatory changes.
unions may be corrupt and conservative now, but that doesn't mean they aren't essential for class struggle
