But this is the best way to treat them. Kids respond well to being treated with respect. Kids are a lot smarter than most people give them credit for, they just haven't had as much time as older people have had to learn things. But we all know that doesn't mean elderly people are necessarily smart.

I work with kids and they all respond very well to me. All I do is treat them as politely, respectfully, and casually, while still remaining an authority figure (since that's my job. If it's just someone else's kid at a party, or a niece or nephew or something, then I don't pretend to be an authority figure). This means that I very rarely have to exercise authority, because the kids know I'm not treating them like idiots, so they can't play stupid when I suggest something that is for their own good (which is all I would ever suggest). At most I'll explain to them why I am asking them to do something, and then they'll do it, because they understand.

There are occasional times when this won't work, but honestly, it works more often than it does with adults, who you try to treat with respect, but more often are just assholes for no reason. And I suppose kids can be a bit more emotionally sensitive, but if I have the time (which unfortunately is not always the case, since I have to deal with up to 30 at a time) then I can usually help them get over whatever issues they're having, once again simply by treating them with polite respect.

Just treat kids like people. Hell, a lot of the time they're smarter and nicer than adults, because they haven't been brainwashed into being stupid assholes yet.

I would love to have kids some day, but I wouldn't want to risk having a boy. I couldn't bear to create another life to suffer like we have in this misandric society. I know we are near the lowest of the low when it comes to getting laid, but statistically men get laid far less and far later than women, meaning statistically any woman he gets will be a used up slut, and he'll have to be the one to put all the effort into the relationship, while the bitch doesn't appreciate it. Then she'll grow bored and leave him, taking his house, his kids, his dog, and his anime figurine collection, lying to his kids to hate him for never being around, or just for being a man, even though he wants to be around, but she and the courts won't let him see them, because then he might not have to pay as much child support. So she lied and said he hit her (even though she actually hit him a bunch but he couldn't call the cops because the cops are literally told to automatically arrest the man in domestic abuse cases no matter what), and since accusations by a woman don't require any evidence, he went to jail and maybe got put on a registry, so now he can't even find an apartment. Oh wait, he can't afford an apartment anyway because he's paying 90% of what he used to make before he went to jail in alimony and child support (which the mother spends on booze and cigarettes instead of the kids), so now that he can't get a job because of his record, he can't pay anymore, so they send him to jail again. Oh well, at least he's not homeless anymore! And look on the bright side. Who cares if she was actually spending the child support on the kids, they weren't his kids anyway!

Also, their rooms always smell like shit, and with the piles of garbage and clothes left everywhere, there's a very high chance there is a shitty pair of underwear lost in there somewhere. Anyone who has ever had a job at a store or something where you have to clean the washrooms also knows women's washrooms are absurdly gross, even compared to male public restrooms. Like sometimes you'll have a crazy person in either one, but it seems a significantly higher percentage of women just don't feel a problem with literally shitting on the floor, for seemingly no reason (not like the toilets were all out of order or something).

Alright to be fair I might be biased because I mostly work with kindergarteners. I fully admit the Jr. High kids I sometimes end up with are largely jerks. I wonder when the cutoff really happens. Honestly I'd say around Jr. High. I was still a loser in elementary school but nobody was an outright jerk until Jr. High, except maybe a couple kids who were held back for being retards and thus actually 13+.

I suppose you could say earlier on they do start developing enough traits that you can tell if they're on the road to Chad/Stacyhood, but it's usually not that bad until they're teenagers, and I wouldn't say I even noticed those signs you're saying until fourth or fifth grade, so we're still talking 10 or 11 year olds.

I know for a fact that I'm good with kids because a lot of my family and friends of the family outright said I'm great with children and would let me babysit their offspring quite frequently

I just stopped due to my own willpower/restrictions and attractions. I found it too easy to abuse my position of power/authority on these children and it left me able to easily sexually abuse them. I admit, I did this for a while in my later teen years up until around age 20/21 when I realized I'm definitely an 'adult' now and if I ever got caught they wouldn't see it as playful petting anymore and I'd be charged with serious crimes.

Since then I've come to make up excuses to my family as to why I can't babysit. Typically, I say that I'm always busy working or doing overtime or working on a project at home. They still continue to ask and I still flirt with the idea since the kids would be at my house and I'd have uninhibited access to them for hours at a time to do whatever I wanted with no questions asked. And it is typical of the parent to tell their children to listen to me and behave because I am in charge. Which further puts me down a slippery slope of sexual gratification if I let it consume me. But, I can thankfully say, I have not abused my babysitting privileges in quite some time and do not intend to be the primary caregiver of any children until I have my own kids.

Once I am taking care of my own offspring I am hoping that my body will differentiate regular kids from my own children and I pray I do not have sexual feelings or the urge to sexually use their bodies for my own pleasure. That is my only wish that I do not find my own children sexually exciting.
