So what about all these Jews who allegedly died in and around the camps? Well, the majority who died did so in the final months of the war (perhaps 200,000 at most). In late 1944 and early 1945, the Allies were bombing Germany into the stone age. Jews have manipulated this and claim, "the Nazis gassed 6 million Jews to death." Absolute nonsense. There is no evidence of this, none. What tourists are shown at Auschwitz is easily refuted. For example, the lone "gas chamber" at Auschwitz I (i.e., Auschwitz Camp 1; there is also an Auschwitz II, called Auschwitz-Birkenau, 3 km away) was built/modified by the Soviets after the war for propaganda purposes; the Polish government has acknowledged this (Auschwitz is in Poland, not Germany). So what was life in the camps really like? In short, the camps were run in an orderly and humane manner. They met all International Red Cross standards for POW camps (they were regularly inspected by the Red Cross). Are there Holocaust survivors who speak honestly about their experience? Yes. In 1994 Steven Spielberg created the Shoah Foundation (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shoah_Foundation). This project involved interviewing some 52,000 Holocaust survivors and recording their testimonies. Hundreds if not thousands of survivors gave honest assessments of their treatment in the camps, indicating it was humane. Anyway, let's move onto another aspect of the Holocaust. Regarding the Eastern Front, it is indeed true that many Jews were killed there. After Germany invaded the USSR in June 1941, they encountered, in addition to the Soviet troops, tens of thousands of partisan fighters, mostly Jewish. In response to this, Germany expanded the Einsatzgruppen which was then tasked with finding these partisans and capturing or killing them. Thus, these were not "innocent Jews" in the context of war, they were Soviet supporters (i.e., partisans) engaging in guerrilla warfare against the German troops.

Danzig was a free city, which meant that both Poles and Germans could use it. Giving it unilaterally to Germans was of no benefit to Poland. Both of those were mostly empty requests as both sides knew they would be rejected.

The diplomat's name was Jozef Beck. He was originally an associate of Polish very own führer Jozef Pilsudski. He saved the country from Soviet invasion in the 20s and introduced some mild proto-form of NatSoc later on. Of course, the country was still a mess because how good can a country be when every fourth resident is a foreigner and one in tenth is a kike, but it was going places. Pilsudski was sympathetic to Germany ever since ww1, because he saw Germany as reassurance of Polish independence against Russia. After Pilsudski's death, there was a huge power vacuum and the country was split again between three factions that advocated alliance with Germany, alliance against Germany or becoming the head of third alliance in Europe known as "Third Europe" or "Intermarum". It was a political disaster how politicians handled Germany and later when war came all of them ran away to Romania to be interned into USA/England. Interestingly enough their descendants came back in the 90s with all the kike funding they scrambled, thinking they were the legitimate government all along. Until today they promote war against Russia and "closer ties with the west". But that's straying from the topic.

To understand why Beck said what he did you have to put yourself in his position. Polish intel about Germany was not fresh. No one had anticipated that Germany would be able to muster a strong army so soon after ww1 and with the economic troubles and sanctions. He thought that it was the same army of 1933, merely a shadow of its former self. Meanwhile, polish army was quite sizable for the time but not mobilized. Then there is the second part. Poland was assured of being a crucial part of allies, no matter what. Beck was actually reassured by British PM prior to the war that England and France will indeed intervene on behalf of Poland in case of war. That worked out well. Then there is, Polish overconfidence. Poland has defeated Soviet Union hardly 20 years back. It was a serious foe with huge capabilities, but Poland managed to stop their plans of taking over Europe. Lastly we have inconvenient deal of Danzig trade, which would cut Poland off from the sea by the famed German road plan. This would kill polish economy, forcing Poland to either trade with/through Soviets or Germany forever. If there was more room renegotiation, maybe it wouldn't have been that way. Or maybe had Poland agreed, they'd join the Axis. But history is as history is and you can't change the past. So basically leaderless Poland, like a headless chicken, declared they will not listen to German demands and so hot war was started. This doesn't mean the cold war wasn't happening since communists tried to take over Germany in the closing days of ww1.
