So under communism, you would go to work for free, then go to the supermarket to load up on groceries for free? After you got home you get comfy in your apartment, which is free and watch some television, for free. You'd order a pizza and the pizza delivery man would give you a pizza for free. Then you'd call your drug dealer friend and he would hook you up with some weed for free. After its all said and done you'd go to sleep to prepare for another day of working for free.
Is my understanding correct?
Bentley Carter
Yes.
Gavin Ortiz
In essence, though there'd probably be some centralized distribution center for goods so you wouldn't have to go to so many places to get the things you need.
Alexander Collins
Under Full Communism, you work your mandatory 2 hours for the week, and then do whatever you want, even work more.
Go to supermarket and get your share of groceries.
Get in your community issued apartment and watch youtube made by other prols.
Order a pizza and the drone brings it.
Then you make application and you get your weekly share of weed.
After all that, you go to sleep .. . or not! As long as you do your mandatory work hours, you're free.
Henry Morgan
That's not communism
Liam Reyes
Stop this "lol robots" presumptions.
Honestly, I'm not sure if we'll have fast food in this sense under communism - it's more likely that you'll have a local canteen or something.
Sebastian Moore
...
Angel Nelson
Well, if some labour is needed…
How are we to have full communism without automation?
Joshua Jackson
Yes, but it's not going to happen in the nearest future anyways
Nathan Cox
Seize the weed of production
Dominic Howard
Automation will exist, because it exist already - but people should stop with the constant assumption that (more or less) everything will be done by it - we still live on a planet with limited resources.
Gabriel Howard
will prostitutes exists in communism, is getting off horny people socially necessary labor, or is it a commodification of human relationships.
Nathaniel Lewis
it would be retarded not to assume increased levels of automation in the future especially with the increased sophistication and availability of robotic labor
Anthony Bailey
Free love, maaannn. But really, prostitution can't exist in communism. The economic relations involved are antithetical to communism.
I envision life will be a lot more collective and substantial so you will have better things to do than watch TV and maybe take a communal meal instead of order food. But as far as 'free, free, free' goes then yeah you're right except you and other generations paid for it already by performing useful labor.
Liam Peterson
People take more resources than robots comrade.
Landon Hernandez
There are already vending machines for pizza
Lincoln Powell
Capitalism has made more porno than we could watch in a lifetime.
Parker Torres
lmao
Grayson Collins
what's wrong with pizza? are you a fascist? /POLl/ FALSEFLAGGOT, GET OUT! REEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
Adam Green
Yeah. It's a pretty retarded system tbh.
Robert Hernandez
Nah, it'd be full VR immersive entertainment or some shit. More like you'd just have weed delivered to you regularly and get your mini drone to fly you a pre-lit blunt at a pre-set time every day.
Gavin White
I doubt there would be mandatory work under communism. There are enough people who would voluntarily work. Just like how the US has a fully volunteer military (and the largest military in the world). The people who work would automatically receive social boons in the form of respect for doing socially necessary work.
Logan Torres
More like get laughed at by the NEET masterrace for funding the good life
Brandon Murphy
what happens if most of the population volunteers?
Colton Reed
that's not what you think it means
Michael Lopez
NEETs would still be a laughingstock for contributing nothing. For fuck's sake, at least get educated and try to advance theory.
More work than is necessary gets done. Excess labor could go toward science for example, which can always scale upward.
Nathan Thomas
yes.
Gavin Anderson
no
Kayden Roberts
Once again the leftists prove just how disconnected from reality they are.
David Roberts
Yeah. I don't understand this thread. What they want is a perfect consumation machinery. They want perfect capitalism. This thread is disgusting. The dreams about automations are retarded too. If that's what you call communism and what you fight for here I'll leave this place & never come again. I'm really in disbelief right now, you guys shit all the time on feminists & other "SJWs" calling them liberal but what you describe is the perfect liberal dream, even economically.
Ethan Robinson
What is communism then? Besides a Jewish plot to kill as many goyim as possible through mass starvation, that is.
Ryder Hughes
Don't worry user, some of us do truly do have desires for a completely revamped world.
Henry Green
Marx's vision:
Carson Stewart
you would also get shot for free if you go against the grain
Noah Parker
Don't worry, Ahmed and Jamal, your imports, are hard at work revamping the world according to Mohammad's teachings.
Tyler Morris
Shut up, you're annoying.
Glad to hear that. The very basic idea of an actual collective life, and free-association as Marx calls it (wrongly I think) which should be at the heart of the organization of communism, is not even mentionned. It's like what they want to defend is precisely the inner seperation of individuals within the integrated spectacle that they practice.. well here for example. That explains that. But I always thought anonymity opened space for different relations to the virtuality our society produces. I noticed it's not really the case. I wonder where on the internet for exemple people form communities in ways one would communistic (is that proper english, communistic ?).
Matthew Scott
Yes, I know leftists don't like hearing the truth.
Ryder Long
"my jewish/muslim tinfoil hat conspiracy theory is the quantifiable truth"
Aiden Flores
Do you want me to simplify it for you, so even your Marxism damaged brain can understand?
What happens when the majority of people in Europe and the US are not cucked whites anymore? Do you think Jamal and Ahmed give a flying fuck about your "enlightened" Jewish bullshit?
They have one book, and it ain't Das Kapital.
Brody Wright
sasuga Holla Forums
Mason Miller
They become faithful whites ? That'd be cool for the children, I hope the same happens to PoC too.
Communists ideas are very present in the ghettos here in France. They give more fucks than bourgeois nationalists like you, for sure.
You mean the Bible or the Manifesto ? :^)
Robert Ramirez
Stop responding you brain-damaged redditor.
Jose Edwards
My comrade
Hmm, internet really makes us ask ourselves what genuine human interaction is. As humans we all have faces, basically absolutely unique identifiers. Anonymity instead of making us dissolve into some harmonious collective is actually a writhing-moving collective striving for harmony but colliding against its boundaries of distance, language, and the fact that we are here turned into ID numbers. Reified! So the form of interaction online could actually mediate the content of our discourse? After all, I think it'd be way cooler to be in a big room with all these anons and tripposters, seeing their bodies, watching their faces, hearing their voices. Internets are actually deep in an uncanny valley of communication – the better internet gets at facilitating communication, the more it stands out that the goal of genuine human communication is being missed. If I'm right then a communistic social form could not exist on the internet, but maybe the internet could be a way of performing a social function, a strictly quantative function, like mutual resource or data pooling.
That was a fun ramble.
Jaxson Baker
I mean that one book that teaches them to throw faggots from the tallest place they can find.
Julian Watson
It's funny
I'm not confusing anything with anything you stupid isolated coward, I lived and still live in a black neighborhood and I personnaly know the people and their ideas.
So the Bible. Well I don't know, the manifesto is quite popular too. Not sure I agree with you.
Alexander Diaz
I agree with you… Maybe the developpement of virtual reality will finally eat itself in the way Baudrillard expected (which has not, I think, happened yet and this is why I regard most of his work as highly controversial speculation), and we will actually be able to interract in even richer ways than we do nowadays. That's what I hope, at least ; if it continues to play a central role in society while at the same time being this alienating mutilation of communication, the only other way will be to continue to distantiate from these spectacular institutions in communist organizations in the same way we already (should) do, and we all know it's not very fun… (I had troubles with my last sentence so I wonder if I'm really that clear…)
Camden Green
In English I think we would say "continue to distance ourselves from" as in, the word 'distance' can be used as a noun and a verb.
Burgerfat here, nice of you to accommodate my language. I'm ignorant about Baudrillard, sorry I can't really discuss.
Brayden Jackson
Thanks for the indication. It's cool, I like english quite a lot. I mean, I like its clarity and simplicity, so in a way I like the fact that I don't have to like english enough to spend nights reading books to learn it. But still, I like it.
No problem. You should read Simulacra and Simulation, & Consumer Society, the first as a trying to go one step further than Spectacle and argue for a kind of "hyperreality", and the second as a theory of relations to objects in capitalist societies. I don't agree with any of the main theses of these books tho.
Ayden Robinson
The Internet is the spectacular answer to its passivity, a sphere of pseudo-activity, the interactive Spectacle.
Robert Smith
So under communism if I wanted a car I'd have to go to the local factory and build it myself?
Seems like a pretty stupid fucking system tbh lmao
James Butler
No. By the time communism is implemented there will be very little work for humans to do. In fact, I don't think full communism is really viable before we get a lot more automation.
So long as there is still scarcity (and hence work to be done), we're better off with something like market socialism or mutualism coupled with a universal basic income.
Kevin Gonzalez
Then why shouldn't I work 2 hours and get half of the super market? How would such exploitation be regulated?
Why does everyone have to be some intellectual giant under communism? Not everyone enjoys or is even capable of enjoying reading.
Logan Brooks
Enjoyment is an ideological category, nothing 'natural' about it. Most people's personal development has been deprecated or halted by society. The idea that we will have the same values, enjoyments, general intelligence under communism as we have under capitalism is ridiculous.
Sebastian Gutierrez
What the fuck are you gonna do with half a supermarket? Where are you even gonna store it? In a supermarket?
Wyatt Rodriguez
Well technically you get as much as you want but in appropriate amounts.
Isaiah Carter
I thought that anyone worked for himself. Like if you need something you take it or if unavailable you go work to get it.makes more sense than mandatory labour
