Oh yeah I agree. Even if we get i a war with them I wouldn't be concerned at all. My only caveat is to let the South Koreans and other nations in the area handle the ground fighting while we provide air and naval support, I don't want our boys, and especially not our girls, who in my opinion shouldn't be allowed on the front lines anyway but what are you going to do right, to get bogged down any more than they have to. The continuation of the war in Afghanistan is bad enough.

The women in the military should die as an example for any others who would think about joining. Why the fuck would you want them not to be allowed on the front lines? They want to be treated like men, let them die like men.

Because they shouldn't be treated like men in the first place. They shouldn't have the same responsibilities men do nor should men have the same responsibilities women do. I don't personally like the idea of making those women suffer because their society lied to them. i believe if most women honestly sat down and thought about they would prefer the life of a house-wife. I mean, there would be exceptions of course and if capable those women should be allowed to follow their non-marital dreams and even housewives can do so as a side goal to what should be their primary one, being a good wife to their husband, which can come in many forms, and ensuring that their children have a loving feminine presence growing up. It's a mans duty to fight for his nation, first and women's job to support that fight. Of course, if push comes to shove we can and should allow for leniency in that but only then. Although I can understand your view given that we currently have equal rights under the law with women, but I don't agree with such blanket "rights" anyway.

Agreed. Although I don't think anyone should be just given the vote, the should prove themselves worthy of it. This goes for both men and women of all races and creeds and the requirements to get the vote should be the same for all of them. Although I myself haven't really come up with much in the way of what metrics we should go by. Having an intelligence that's at least above average should probably be a prat of it but that's as far as I've gotten. If a woman can pass whatever test or meet whatever requirements are considered necessary, then she should be given the franchise. Of course the requirements/test as I've said before should be the same for all and stay that way no matter what. So there would be no lowering of standards for anyone to get more of certain demographics in, nor would there be higher standards for anyone to try to block certain demographics out. Ultimately the majority of the enfranchised in such a system would be white males, and we would achieve this without blocking out individuals of other demographics who deserve it and blocking out those white men who would be poor voters. In my opinion that is the best way to get out of our current situation, not just denying or giving the franchise to blanket demographics but doing it meritocraticly.

Beyond just restrictions on who can vote, I'll also add that their needs to be a ban on corporations, non-profits, trade unions and other groups making political donations. The decision made for Citizens United vs. FEC needs to be reversed, at least on the Federal and State level. There should always be a limit on how much a single person can donate to anything having to do with political campaigns and politics in general, as well. None of that "Super-PAC" bullshit. We should also have a test and/or a set of requirements one has to go through/meet before they can donate as well, for that is also a path to influencing policy. Do those things as well and we're well on the way to fixing a lot of the issues we currently have and probably creating several new unforeseen and foreseen problems. We can only hope that their will be less when we undergo these changes and not the same amount or even more.
