Adopt a successful business strategy based around selling their mainline books to people who actually buy comics, while using alternative imprints to experiment and try to find new audiences.

Also, good writing on most of them, at least. They've realized that putting out a smaller number of good, successful books is better than putting out a larger number that barely hang above cancellation numbers.

I want the comic to also be sold 2-3 chapters at a time per month in a big book with 5 different comics for about $15.
Any immersion destroying advertisements only existing before and after each couple of chapters.
I want it so that if the published comic does well that it will have a good chance of being made into an incredibly faithful 1/1 cartoon show.
I want it so that the creator(s) outline how many 3 month periods they will be working for with a maximum of 4 and if the collections sell well than they will be allowed to do another whole year's worth.
I want them to be able to make the cast as homogeneous as they want.
I want them to be able to write the same level of shit found in manga.

There's plenty of interesting stuff from Miles. Maybe it wasn't delivered well enough by your standards, but the character certainly had potential.

The only thing I could imagine having done when bringing Miles to Earth 616 was to have his family and friends die with the rest of the universe, have him start out homeless and depressed and after awhile get adopted by Parker. Other than that, I the only thing you could have done would have been to kill him off in a battle with a supervillain, his last thoughts being about how Peter made being Spiderman look a lot easier than it actually was.

If his dad was still mutant hating, would he be for gassing mutants? Did this mutant hatred rub off on Miles and that's why he distrusts other mutants like Storm & Cyclops (among other reasons). Also how would he see and relate to Kamala Khan as an Inhuman but also Terrigen gas as well since it could kill him. I could see something cool coming from this but we know we'll never get it.

If the market that valued original IPs was there than the industry wouldn't be getting worse, it would just change.

I'm sure a lot of budding creators would jump at the chance to sell their wares and connect with fans in person, as webcomics and Patreon can only get you so far if you don't put yourself out there. But cruising the con circuit is pretty expensive, so of course most aren't able to do it

DC used to sort of have that with Solo, where authors could write whatever they want with whichever DC characters they want. It got cancelled in 2006 after 12 issues.

Phonebook anthologies aren't financially viable outside Japan, and regular anthologies are already a hard sell in the west without name talent to attract readers (hello ISLAND). Accepting submissions is a no-no simply because of the time and staff needed to weed out the shit.

It's just that that they were probably encouraged by goo and improving (at least on paper) economy in Poland. In the 90s, kiosks and bookstores had plenty of Marvel, DC, and Image comics, but only Polish and European books remained once economy started to stagnate.

Yet somehow, Dark Horse, Image, and IDW manage to handle it and publish their own little anthology series. In Europe, many comics are sold in form of "magazines" each containing 3 to 6 issues of different stories.

They used to. It was called Flight. It was like a phone book with many different artist. But I don't know how well it sold though.
