I think the idea of putting random instructional tapes on the Wheel of the Worst instead of movies was one of the catalysts for why RLM started going to shit in around 2014. You can't really analyses or say anything profound or interesting about random instructional tapes and it just devolved into "look at this random thing, weird right" and doing wacky and random humour to fill the episode.
