You can use archive.is, or a link anonymizer like anonym2.
Notice how the full URL is still shown inside the anonymized URL? That's good.
Don't use a URL shortener which hides the destination URL, as those are often used to mask cheese pizza and other malicious links, and should not be trusted.
Actually "Referer Control" is quite shit. I actually use an option in uMatrix to do this.

Sometimes people link to the original along with the archive, this still gives our position away to the enemy. One must NEVER directly link to an enemy site without anonymizing the link.

also install Firefox addon - uMatrix "upper left corner" is a "gear wheel" icon - config privacy tab "Spoof HTTP referrer string of third-party requests. " - check "Spoof User-Agent string by randomly picking a new one below every minutes" - check (and set for every 5 mins or less)
Just make sure you disable before logging in to your credit card company/bank or you might set off their "web fraud measures" & lockout your account(true story)

If this is anything like dontlink.me, then the enemy can still see who's going there via tracking pixels. There's a reason why we switched to archive.is. If you need to sperg out over seeing the original URL, use archive.org instead of archive.is. 8ch.net becomes web.archive.org/web/20151231212854/http://8ch.net/ so you can see the original, and it's still an archive so the enemy can't see who's going there.
