Holy shit. I am a hiring manager. Usually a college education means the person is not qualified for the job unless it is in the field they studied. That is people with college educations are usually less adaptable and less qualified for jobs outside their field than people with no or some college. Twenty years ago I would agree that a college education was an indicator of future wealth potential, and general intelligence. Now days, unless it is in an applied science, I would guess that college education where person does not work in their study field, indicates lower intelligence (they were bounced out of their field) and lower lifetime earning potential than a person who just has a high school diploma.

As for education… aren't the educational standards in most western nations dropping and everyone seems to acknowledge this on all sides of the political spectrum? Aside from that, the people who've been educated in these far-left universities are also told that they're "smarter" and more "world aware" than the average man, discouraging them from being open-minded and considering alternate views.

Meanwhile, out in the real world, people form their views based on the things they actually see happening around them, which tends to make them skew to the right. For the same reason a lot of conservative people are on the older side - they may have been hardcore lefties when straight out of school, but a lifetime out in the real world has made them see the truth.
