And the movie is actually good, probably one of the best action movie of the decade (which isn't that hard sure but still).

Wasn't it on the top of the boxoffice when it came out two years ago on valentines? And apparently enough people saw it to warrant the sequel.

It's an action movie that came out on valentines the same week as Fifty Shades of Grey.
And with American Sniper and Jupiter Ascending in their week 2.
The fact that it didn't do badly (on domestic reimburse prod costs on week 3… it's nothing to write home about either) is testament to the quality of the movie (and the fact that Jupiter Ascending was trash), but I'm honestly wondering if it wasn't set up to fail…

I hope the sequel is just as good or better. The first one was just a damn fun movie to watch.

Movie also stirred up a minor shitstorm, because of it's ending. In it, the Swedish princess promises that if main character frees her, she will let him fuck her. And if he manages to save the world, that she will do anal with him. Last scene of the movie is the princess' ass. Video related Naturally, places like Vulture and Salon were unhappy, because it makes women to be sexual object. Additionally, one of the villains is a Pakistani cripple and protagonist's father got killed by middle eastern terrorists.

You should probably watch the scenes leading up to the church killing spree so you don't oust yourself as someone who hasn't seen the movie next time.

I remember when it came out and people were bitching about it and shitposting something chronic, the only thing I didn't like was the main character, every other character was great, I liked the villain, I liked the other Kingsmen and I really liked the villain's henchman, also many of the fight scenes are great, I wish the bad guy won in the end.

Rent it or stream it. It's worth a watch at the least. The story is about some faggot kid who came back from a tour in the desert and immediately reverted back to being a faggot civilian.

I think that was done on purpose. The mc is a faggot, so it's very clear when he transforms into the super spy. The transformation would have been a lot more subtle had he been /k/ then went super spy.

I still don't like him post transformation, but yes I clearly got that with his Chav look at the start, the character becoming the cool spy was great but I didn't like the look and voice of the actor, maybe he was the best choice but I still didn't like him, All the other characters were standout and interesting, minus some of the shitty side ones like the other Kingsmen in training and the generic thugs, this is the first film I had seen with Sofia Boutella and I really liked her character, she was completely standout and it's understandable why she went from almost nothing before this film to starring as the villain opposite Tom Cruise in the Mummy reboot, a film that I'm not at all interested in watching.
