For me its not the opinions that matter. Hell I like Alan Moore's work even if I don't agree with everything he says. The problem is that these comic book writers like Busiek are behaving like jerks. Busiek using a dead man to prop up his own views and threaten the life of another is disgusting behavior that should not be tolerated.

Personally, I don't mind an artist/writer having different views than mine, but it's when they let their views poison their work that I get upset. But I agree that people can get too swept up in worrying about others' political opinions.

To say Jack Kirby would be "pro-Clinton", or even "pro-Trump", is doing a disservice to the man and his memory. He wouldn't have liked either candidates, and certainly would've been distrustful of Clinton.
