This thread is for the discussion of volunteering for observing the elections, and other methods that could prevent a fair vote. It is important to volunteer if you can. Especially if you reside in a battleground state, as I suspect those will get targeted more.

Rhode Islander here. I registered to vote in 2009 and was unaffiliated until I voted for Trump in this year's primary. For a couple of days after I voted my party affiliation was "unaffiliated" on ri.gov but I checked it an hour ago and it read "democrat". A party change takes 90 days but you can submit another registration form until end of day today, though I think it will still list me as democrat for another 3 months. Does anyone know if I need to be registered republican for the general election or if that only matters for primaries? I'm going to make a call on Monday to inquire about this but I wanted to warn others about it.
