You'd be surprised.

Where's the Alunya + Snakegirl of Exploitation?

pretty cheeky mate

I think these images are slightly sexist idk

no, they really are pretty anti-hillary.

Well, yes? I see animu personifications of nations/factions, depicted in roles of dom and sub, conqueror and conquered, implying politicized non-con fantasies on the artist's part.

"My glorious motherland could yuri-fuck YOUR motherland!"

Someone get Freudposter in here.

Do you mean "general population of tumblr?" Because most people around the chans will conflate "tumblr" with "SRS and all SRS-like cults".

How in the fuck could they possibly be sexist?

He think they're sexist because they're naked women?
Kill the socdems.

nice meme comrade

"Objectificatio" is A L I E N A T I O N

DEAL WITH IT!

You can't have Capitalism without A L I E N A T I O N

Call it sexism, patriarkhy, whatever.. It's still CAPITALISM.

I don't get it. They're naked bodies. If I saw naked men, I wouldn't care either. Just no clothes. Also of course its objectification of exploited people from other powers. DUH.

Any individual who may perform a service for you that you don't care about on a personal level is objectified.

In this case, there is nothing wrong with it since the drawing is literally an object.

I thought I was the only one

You guys fall for obvious shitposting way too easily.

You fucing kikes

Responding to bait is an unfortunate side effect of intellectual honesty. Not that you would know anything about that.

No it means you're a fucking newfag who's never been on a chan before and you're shitting up the board for everyone else.
Not that you would know anything about that.

Our intellectual honesty means that we're unlikely to dismiss arguments as merely "shitposting", especially when Poe's Law is in full swing and we're constantly being raided by Holla Forumstards who shitpost unironically. What this means is that we're far more likely to actually address dissenting opinions head-on instead of saging and reporting.

Perhaps it's impossible to consistently have discussions of any depth or seriousness on imageboards without also feeding trolls such as yourself, but perhaps that tradeoff is worth it if it educates ignorant people about what the Left actually stands for.

If you can't tell the difference, you might be autistic.

Ebin. I bet you feel proud of that one.

TIL the Left stands for rebuffing whatever spooky bullshit delusional stormniggers come up with for all eternity.
If you've let the right determine the subject of discussion you've already lost.

Poe's Law, nigger. Also 99% of chan users are autistic anyway

If nobody ever rebuffs it, people will accept it as factual at face value. That singular narrative is why so many people think that socialism = big government and leftist = liberal, for example.

Well if you aren't the guy I initially replied to I apologize

Easier said than done, considering how outnumbered we are on 8ch and in real life.

You know what, I used to think that instead of mudslining with /po/tards and ayncraps and SJWs all the time we could attract people with a large amount of high-quality posting about broader leftism. But this board obviously has an insatiable appetite for bait, as I keep trying to spark up interesting topics for discussion, get barely any replies, mostly from people with a massively overinflated opinion on their own knowledges of the subject, and then "stupid shit Stefan Molyneux does" thread #457623 gets 200 replies.

nope

The problem is newfaggotry rather than bait. We should incentivise lurking to see if the well-read oldfags return from bunkerchan, /anarcho/, or wherever they went.
Educating Holla Forumsyps has wielded some results from what I've seen.

Kys

Holy shit. My mom came into my room to bring me a plate of chicken nuggets and I literally screamed at her and hit the plate of chicken tendies out of her hand. She started yelling and swearing at me and I slammed the door on her. I'm so distressed right now I don't know what to do. I didn't mean to do that to my mom but I'm literally in shock from the results tonight. I feel like I'm going to explode. Why the fucking fuck is he losing? This can't be happening. I'm having a fucking breakdown. I don't want to believe the world is so corrupt. I want a future to believe in. I want Bernie to be president and fix this broken country. I cannot fucking deal with this right now. It wasn't supposed to be like this, I thought he was polling well in California. This is so fucked.

Made a mild alteration.

yuck.

why i love this board

What are capitalists doing here?

This tbh, actual posing and shit posting on chans have efficiently lost all meaning, only why you respond matters

This is true, but as the media and education system have already laid the foundation, guess what? They aren't going to listen to whatever topic we propose to begin with.

CAPITALIZING EVERYTHING

Become a real libertarian and stop being a traitor by serving those with power.

They're good for the board to be honest, if we don't have discourse with people who actually disagree with us then we will just devolve (if it hasn't happened already) into a Holla Forums tier echo chamber. Debate keeps the tongue sharp.

Pure propaganda and lies

so this is what passes for a "dank meme" these days huh

I'm not necessarily a capitalist, you just don't have an AnChrist flag.

Still probably more pro-market than 99% of this board though.

It's happened already I've been banned for posting smug lolis with my arguments in the past.

I'm just here to shitpost, rustle jimmies, and occasionally add a more normalfag perspective since I work in a trade skill producing profit rather than in academia/union politics.

Like you said though, keeps people on their toes, so they have to think up fresh arguments.

I posted it here before posting it on /liberty/, m8. No need to doublepost.

Top kek, can agree.

technically Mexicans are even more obese than us if I remember right though.

even /pol knows ancap is AIDS.

But are you against private property?

Are you sure you're not just a Christian mutualist?

I have clear definitions of private property that follow a specific format (DDDEAL, if you recognize the acronym), but I do recognize multi-generational ownership on the basis of scientific and economic progress (as well as bodily autonomy) to achieve a more free and more prosperous society for everyone.

DDDEAL stands for Defineable, Defendable, Divestable, Excludeable, Allocateable, Liable.

Taxation is theft, and I don't believe in recognizing a community/group as greater than an individual, so I run into issues with mutualists. That being said, I think mutualist and socialist settings can function in smaller groups (~250 or less), so I have no qualms with their existence on a voluntary basis, or their mutual/public ownership of things. The main issue I run into with socialism is the folks who want widespread application because they run into the knowledge problem or a stagnation when no one can agree on things or people who demand violent revolution to achieve their ends mainly because it stems from an unhealthy/violent mind with a lust for power. I believe Nietzsche had a good quote about those sorts.

I will say that the knowledge problem equally applies to large businesses as it does to socialists.

I don't consider corporations to be a legitimate entity since their existence relies on special muh privileges granted by the state. This is a generally agreed upon belief among less militant AnCaps.

...

Yeah, they are. But if Taxes are theft, so is wage-labour.
However from what you're telling me it sounds like you're conflating mutualists with anarcho-communists. I could be wrong. Are you aware of the diffences?

I'm aware of the differences, but Mutualists are a very slippery sort who range from AnComs in disguise to Left-Libertarians trying to appeal to socialists. Hard to trust 'em. No offense to the legitimate mutualists lurking the thread.

Then why are you saying mutualists want everything to be held in common, when they're perfectly fine with collective and personal enterprise?
It does sound a little like you conflate it a little.

However an interesting question though: when direct democracies of up to 10k people were possible in ancient Greece, why would direct democracy in the workplace only be possible for up to 250 people?

If you're a genuine market socialist, I have no issues. I don't really like fighting with other socialists, but if you're a capitalist that's another thing.

Libertarians ARE socialists.

Long answer would take too long since I was supposed to go to the gym about 45 minutes ago.

Short answer (assuming you're referring to Athenian Democracy):

1)They had very strict restrictions on who could vote (citizen male property owners who had served in the military)

2) The people who could vote almost always tended to belong to nobility or military elite.

3) It was in the nobility and military elite's self-interest to not start shit that could cause them to lose power or lose their lives.

4) The Athenians relied on slave labor to a large extent to subsidize their living.

5) At most, about 20-30% of the Greek population actually voted, this is before accounting for slaves and foreigners who were not counted in the Greek Populace (and who greatly outnumbered them) if I remember correctly.

6) Of this 20-30% figure, only about 10% from each city (district) actually had voting powers in most cases.

7) When democracy was finally opened up to lower-tier nobles and property owners, it quickly lead to them developing a holier-than-thou attitude and a lot more strife/regulation, leading to many wanting them to only vote on criminal proceedings and wars.

8) This lead to them getting fucked over hard by the Spartans when they tried to expand their developing empire.

So yeah, if you subsidize your living expenses via violence, allow a small portion of their population to vote, and ensure that of that small population, only those who have a direct stake in potential conflicts as a result of that voting, you can make it work for a while. Knowledge problem doesn't happen overnight though, it's a gradual stagnation.

If you think of a business as a top-down approach, you run into the issue of an executive in New Mexico not understanding the social and cultural climate in New Hampshire or possibly even in Greece. He has to place executives in each region which eventually leads to an unstable structure when one of the guys on top makes a big fuckup collapsing his branch causing a chain reaction. The metaphorical house of cards. We use this example for state socialists.

If you think of a system as bottom-up, you run into the reverse problem whereas the workers in New Mexico and the workers in Greece can't come to a mutual agreement, leading to stagnation and frustration when no one can make a proper decision, and rogue elements who decide to make decisions for them lead to chaos and confusion. This will either lead to collapse or splitting off into separate groups which gets us around the magic number.

The magic number (typically placed between 150 and 300) is based on a number of factors. It's based on the fact that a human can only remember the faces, names, and personalities of about 100-200 people. It's based on what many people (the Amish or ancient Germans being the best examples) consider the best time to split into two separate groups. It's based on public choice theory and the approximate people who can have a vote before your incentive to vote due to its weight in the process is potentially nill. It's approximately the point where experiments of early-colonial American communes began to fall apart and people started to skimp out on their duties, leading to famine. 150-300 seems to be the "magic number" for humans to be able function as a group entity.

Unfortunately I'm very much a porkie and very much a free market capitalist- I'm just relatively lefty-friendly.

Maybe a better term would be lefty-sympathizing or lefty-tolerant.

So you are not actually a Christian?

Jesus was a voluntarist.

Jesus was a socialist.

Read the Gospels. Something being "voluntary" isn't enough.

Yeah, of course Athens wasn't a full democracy. It had private property and slaves.

We'd just use technology instead of slaves though. We live in [COMMON ERA] now, and things have changed radically since then.
My point was that a much larger direct democracy than 250 people can, and has, existed with a great deal of coordination.

Then of course they should split into two groups if they do not agree on which direction they should go.
Otherwise it'd not be democratic. I don't know why this would be a problem.

Cool. THen the local communes exist in those sizes and arrange in voluntary federations. No problem in that, Rojava does that right now.

Oh. So you're no anarchist.
I'm saddened to hear.

...

I'm in MX and I approve of this

Make one a porky, and the other, I am unsure.

A gold bar?

Who is that Hegelian flag supposed to represent? I wanna be on team Hegelian Marxist.

And now we are fully in the land of fantasy.

Jesus obviously was a voluntaryist in the ethical sense, but he never said anything about changing the political system.

I'd argue capitalism is not voluntary because

Alunya should be groping a skeleton with a bullet hole in the skull.

Or perhaps the other way around.
