I observed this same thing.
The Fox media/established right media can't handle this onslaught. They're resorting to their tired, shrieking tactics that have been a constant source of disaster. Each media lie results in these bozos cranking their whining up to 11 and trying to play the victim. It's a turn-off to moderate voters. We need to find a way to counter the narrative by projecting strength, positivity, and fun.
If the media lies take control of the situation by point out the lie and laughing. Make it seem like the media can't help themselves. They're not in control of their actions. They're weak. They have to lie. It's all they know. Pity them. By begging them to tell the truth and throwing a tantrum when they don't these shit pundits give control to the media not only over the narrative, but over them selves as well, and that makes the media appear strong.
Trumps "your mama is voting for Trump" line was great. We need more positive, strong, fun Trump in the media. The new shift needs to be the media is incapable of telling the truth, so we have to build something new. Something better.
I hope Manafort figures this out. It could really boost Trump going into the debates. Focus on perfecting policy, projecting strength, and positivity.
Strong people forge greatness. They don't beg for it, and they don't cry for it.
I think Trump's biggest hurdle right now is the Fox media. Those people just plain suck at everything. Would you want to hang out with any of them? Maybe Hannity, but the rest? No way. And when those people come out and defend Trump they're so abrasive and unfunny/uncool/unlikable that it reflects badly on the group. Moderates start to associate Trump with Fox, and moderates don't like Fox. The idea gets into their mind:
Trump has got to focus on making his campaign different. Sure he needs support from SOME of the established politicians, but their support should be viewed as them moving to Trump, not the other way.
The convention was a great bump, but the media is throwing everything they have at him right now and by throwing everything at him they are throwing everything at his supporters. Can Trump's ego take it? Absolutely. Can the ego of Dottie from Nebraska take it? No. Trump and his team need to focus on inspiring people again. Remind them we are rebuilding OUR country, and rebuilding OUR future, and NO ONE will take that future from us, our children, or our country.
